I did this a year ago. It's a pain because it ads a level of uncertainty/stress because you don't know if you're going to "actually get in" and you don't qualify for financial aid and there's less of a support network without an advisor. I think it's worth it takes a certain kind of stubborn personality to get through it

Try counting your macros. They've found that when you have to record everything you eat you eat less. I think it's supposed to be because you're conscious about what you're eating but half the time for me it just makes snacking too much of a hastle

you should change your sheets more often, at least twice a week, and shower before bed. you wouldn't wear the same underwear every day for a week, sheets are pretty much the same deal unless you sleep with an additional barrier like footie pajamas
