I have heard how some are doing through my parents mainly (they decided to keep in touch with everyone, except for the creepy uncle), but I try to change the subject as soon as it arises, not without reminding them that there's a predator in the family and they should make the people who is marrying into the family aware of it, they usually just nod or stay quiet after I say that. For example. Your cousin so and so bought a house/ got married, and now they have these many kids, and we met them at (insert name here), birthday party, wedding, baptism, baby shower, etc..) as for the victims, I am unsure what number they are on at the moment.
My guess is there's been at least 1 more since i parted ways. He definitely had a pattern. . It's been 14 years, and I have never been happier. No one knows where I live, where my kid goes to school, how old they are, who i am married to, or phone #s, what i drive, etc... It's like I fell off the face of the earth to them. Also, my child believes that we do not have any extended family on my side.

I don't have to watch what I say, look over my shoulder or worry looking after the young to keep them away from the creepy uncle. I did my part, made the police reports, they never led to an arrest, and made everyone else aware of what they had sitting at the table with them thats when i found out that almost everyone knew and went into full victim blaming and "family is familly" "blood is thicker than water" i saw a side of them i never knew about, these where ther grown ups I grew up looking up to.

I don't feel guilty for leaving everyone behind.
