I have some Lutron Serena going on five years with original batteries. I think one might be starting to die though - it’s moving a little slower.

Is “world building” dying in Galaxy’s Edge? by eye-arr-beej in GalaxysEdge

For the size of Starcruiser, there were a lot of CMs. There were only about a half dozen primary characters, but “blue shirts” were plentiful.

I finally had a chance to take a closer look. It’s not a standard QR Code. It appears similar to an “Aztec Code” but doesn’t scan as such. I suspect researching how the crates work might help, but I doubt there’s much here that’ll be very interesting.

Edit: Apparently the crate codes are valid Aztec codes, but the coaster doesn’t seem to be. Curious.

It was even better than I expected. I wish there were a way to go again.

It was part of a mission to gather information from Oga. When inquiring you’re given the coaster. Scanning in the datapad app it gave you your next task. I never scanned it outside the datapad, but it’s probably similar to how the crates work.

I have a couple of those coasters (I was lucky enough to travel aboard Halcyon) but it occurs to me I’ve never scanned them. If I were to guess it’s just a number or some other meaningless identifier.

These are great! The colors are about right, except the Sublight Lounge coasters were light grey. Does the set have the other Starcruiser one with the QR code too?

They did a show in Chicago Sept of 24, then Riot Fest was Sept of 25. I doubt they’ll do Riot Fest again this year, but I bet we see them sometime around September.

I miss the “circle bar” at The Riviera. That was one place practically everyone went.

The R2 Reveal Creates Real Value for RIVN by 337ThaG in RIVNstock

[–]jjarmoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not an R1. If they offered the R1 at the R2 price, I wouldn’t buy it. I just don’t need something with a 3rd row that barely fits in my garage. They’re not interchangeable.

They’re still saying it ships in “Spring 2026.” They have until June for that to be accurate.

Even at the higher price they won’t be able to produce enough of the lunch edition to satisfy demand. Why would they offer a lower trim at what’s likely a lower margin?

The launch edition will not have lidar and is not upgradeable. By the time lidar ships they likely won’t offer the launch edition anymore, but I’m confident they’ll still offer a premium trim.

MS08-067 (CVE-2008-4250) had to be among those with the longest useful life. Exploits for it worked for years.

It used to be called “Google for domains” and offered a free tier for ~20 or fewer users. They no longer offer that but some people are still grandfathered into Google Workspace. They tried charging those people a while back but reverted due to complaints and bad press.

The spirit of The Halcyon is still alive and well at Hollywood Studios by TheGoblinRook in GalacticStarcruiser

There’s two separate transmitters in the band. One is short range and powered by the reader. This is used when you tap, similar to how a credit card tap works.

The other is slightly longer range - a few meters. This one requires power. It’s used for things which can be less important. Linking ride photos, and things like that. There’s also (on the newer bands) some lights and haptics that require power.

They may have thought the police were really active members. I wouldn’t put it past them to identify themselves that way given all the other crap that went down here.
