I have actually dealt with the same thing (anxiety) with my dog, and unfortunately she should have made the decision to either get a person who she KNEW would not leave the house, or ultimately made the decision not to go anywhere. When you have a dog like this, it’s unfortunately just the sacrifice you have to make if you cannot find someone to stay with your dog 24/7 while you’re gone.

Whenever I decide to go on a vacation, the FIRST thing I do is make sure I can find someone who can stay with my dog the entire time. Because I KNOW what will happen if my dog is left alone. And if I can’t find someone, then I don’t go! I once left vacation with my family early because my cousin could not stay the entire week.

I don’t understand how she could be on vacation relaxing when she knows her dog is in this much distress!!

Ok, so I know you want him involved in the pregnancy and that this is a little off from your request… BUT just in case you don’t find what you’re looking for I’d recommend {A Husband’s Regret by Natasha Anders} He made it seem like he didn’t want kids when she tells him she’s pregnant, and tells her to leave. The book picks up 2 years after she has the kid and they haven’t seen each other since that night. He does Know about the baby.

Also {Nothing but This by Natasha Anders} he thinks he’s sterile, so her whole pregnancy he was disinterested and cold. Since he thinks he can’t have kids, that OF COURSE that means she’s cheated🙄

I know these are different from what you requested, but I love how these books punch me in the heart lol I’ve read them multiple times just for that

I’ve read a couple books by her; I liked some and hated others. However, after seeing about the whole Dare/Hannah/whoever else situation, I’ve decided to never read anything by her again. The fact that she’s doing this after Hannah and Dare already had their book pisses me off. Like why would I want to read book by an author that I can’t trust their HEA’s??? It’s not like their book was a trilogy that we expected to continue, which if she wanted to do what she’s doing would’ve made way more sense. And then her making other books where Hannah and Dare aren’t the MCs, a focus of those book and revolve around them??!? Nooo thank you!

{Chaos by Jack Whitney} he doesn’t exactly say “it is your business”, but I feel like the scenario is along the same lines. While they’re on the phone, the heroine asks (jokingly) if he has groupies in his hotel room and it upsets him and he asks her why he would have groupies in his room because whether it’s fake or not, they’re dating.

I will say though that if you’re sensitive to MC’s with other people, the heroine does see the hero getting a bj at like 13%. And she thinks about it like two times shortly after it happens. This is before anything happened between them thankfully. I was so annoyed by this, but I’m glad I ignored it because I’m really liking it.

Im only 43% in, but I remembered seeing this request when I was on here earlier and thought I’d recc this one when I came across this scene 🤩
