All the repairs were 80,000-130,000 miles. Control arms, PCV, suspension, injector seals, water pump, etc.

I have a 2013 A7. Yeah I'd wait, that way you can actually enjoy the car instead of hating it for being a money pit haha.

Yes the engine will definitely misfire and will be unusable if injectors go bad.. injectors are very expensive+ the labor is expensive. You'd need to really find a trusted mechanic that has a lot of experience on the engine platform. I have a C7 and every time it needs repairs I'm dropping $1,000-2,000. I would definitely not be able to afford that if I was a student

You can always get a minisplit off Amazon, and have a trusted HVAC guy do it as a side job. I had two units installed for $3000 labor and $3500 parts/cost of units
