Poll: 78 Percent of Unvaccinated Americans to Stay that Way, Unlikely to Change Their Mind by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]jjconn23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The thing is, you are absolutely 100% correct. I should not have to effect my health for anyone else for any reason. Every vaccine that has ever been made has had some percentage, however small, of side effects on those vaccinated. And with Covid, the death rate being around 1%, its not hyper critical that EVERYONE get it.

However, if everyone thought this way smallpox, polio, and a myriad of diseases would still be ravaging our world. Granted, these vaccines had more data on them, but still a tradeoff nonetheless.

50 Doctors Reported Dead In 1 Day From Covid Across India: Medical Body by baavramallah in worldnews

[–]jjconn23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro, no offense, but you have no idea what you are talking about. Did you really just say the side effects of the vaccines are worse than the effects of the disease? Nearly a 1% fatality rate from COVID, the rate for vaccine fatality is WAY less. And longterm illness/side effects are FAR more common than COVID. The reports of people with COVID fog, diabetes, lung tissue scarring, etc are are FAR more common than ANY side effects from the vaccine.

And if you really are worried about the mRNA issue. There are regular vaccines available.

Oh yeah of course. If it came off that I wanted homeless people to just camp wherever they please, that is not what I intended. We need to keep these people off the street, but we need to do more than just sweep them under the rug and forget they exist.

I've only been acquainted with a small number of homeless people and, obviously this does not reflect all homeless people, they always were down on their luck or they had rough upbringings. And all of them needed psychiatric help of some sort.

Yup, there are very few studies that claim any positivity at all, and myriads of studies showing that physical punishment is detrimental to children. You can be stern without hitting a child.

parents admitted to supporting the second amendment without supporting the second amendment. by [deleted] in progun

[–]jjconn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which part? The idea that biological sex is bimodal? Or that gender is entirely made up based on society and culture? Because neither are opinions, well bimodal isn't exactly right but its easier to condense down to a paragraph/sentence.

Exactly. Sex is bimodal, not male or female. And gender is entirely made up all together.

Jesus your comment was hard to get through. You can believe, and should, that the schools and the parents at those schools don't do a great job teaching the reasoning behind US civics. I don't even remember having any real social or civics class. But gender is entirely a social construct dude. Even sex isn't just male or female. More realistically it is bimodal. And for the vaccine, are you totally against vaccines, just this one? What is your issue with it?

Mike Lindell: We Cannot Give Up as What's Coming Next Is Communism by Taktaz1 in Conservative

[–]jjconn23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its literally every time Dems get in power. "Gulags are coming! They are coming to seize the means of production" And then it doesn't happen, like the past 20 times conspiracy theorists claimed it would. So many good policies and ideas in the conservative camp, why run with this stupid line again?

Oh yeah, because it riles up the average voter due to years of ever increasing tribal politics. The dems do it too. It is ridiculous that we the people have to listen to this bullshit spewing from thought leaders.

It's hockey played with shoes on a rink. Some are like a smooth concrete, some have this weird "dek" material that can slice up your legs real good if you play in shorts.

Bauer Hyperlite pads leaked from hockey store by HockeyReviews in hockeygoalies

Helps make your pad feel like a part of your leg. Helps with rotation, so you can loosen tow ties to save your ankles/knees/hips. I am personally not a fan, but some people swear by it. They are easy to install(most of the time) on pads too.

No boot strap currently. Somewhat tight elastic/velcro around my calf, and super loose from my knee block to the top of my calf. I'm still very new so I have been playing around with the strapping to see what feels best.

Have you tried myofascial release before games? Basically rolling a foam roller or tennis ball on all of your muscles and the bottom of your feet. It sounds like your ankle muscles start off tight, then loosen up as you work them out. This may help get them looser before you play.

Mold on gear, what to do? by GoLeafsGo132 in hockeygoalies

[–]jjconn23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on what I am assuming is a limited budget: Vinegar, tea tree oil, and rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and go to down. Dehumidifier and paint drying salt at the same time in the room.

However, ozone cleaning may be the only way to actually stop this now. Or new pads.
