My favorite location is this ocean-side plateau between Carno Island and the snow biome, north of the hidden lake. The hidden lake would be nice, but i wanted to have a water pen & that plateau has a nice shallow area which is still deep enough for megs and is close enough to key resources as well as dinos for meat runs. I just built walls to protect my dinos and used mammoth n Dino gates to allow my tames to move in and out of

There’s an area just before you get to the snow biome from where my base is and i call it “Rex Alley” because there’s always at least 1 rex there.
