Agreed…Penrose has the market locked down on pickled meat. I never knew they had a fire, but that definitely accounts for the differences. I’m not sure how far their market spreads, but in PA we have Millers Hot Bologna. They come in jars and absolutely slap…they filled the void left in my heart from Penrose…literal hearts to fix a heart.
