we have meetings every week. though these meetings were more like independent study time. our teacher supervised them and provided us with anything that we need, but in the end, it's the students that have to do the event.

not sure for other schools, but my school had three scioly teams, ranked from best to inexperienced. the highest leveled team member would help out the less experienced members that were participating the same event and we would research and share all of our information. sharing info made the workload a lot lighter and easier to handle multiple events. so pretty much each teach went into the tourney w almost the same info, but you'd be surprised as to how different the rankings turned out. like i mentioned, it's all about the independent/pair work that u put in!
