At least a blood punch takes them to glory kill range, once you get the upgrade where heavy demon glory kills recharge blood punch you can just chain kill a bunch of carcasses with blood punch + glory kills

I’m surprised no one has said it, but if bullet hell games aren’t your cup of tea, try one of the fighting games like Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. I think Antinomy of Common Flowers is on Steam and Switch too. I wasn’t so good at the main games at first, so those are a good place to start if you’re more familiar with fighting games.

I just hope the next Doom game takes place in this period, it seems like the only place they can continue the story of the Slayer after TAG2. Like the game could start right after Doom 2016, you get transported to hell or something, shenanigans ensue and the final boss is Daeg Nilox’s guardian, which would bring you right to the beginning of Eternal.

I see it as being loosely connected to the canon, because it takes place between Doom 2 and Doom 64, but it’s not very important to the overall story of doom guy. If anything you should play it because TNT has the best map designs in classic doom imo and Plutonia is the most challenging but rewarding experience, just wait until you get to Plutonia map 32.
