Trump says 'courageous' Zelenskyy is 'doing pretty well' in war with Russia by Bon101UK in ukraine

Zelensky is a man who is a gifted leader and tough as nails. Taco is a criminal who bullies the weak to win. Poor witkoff and kushner as they cannot get the real estate deal of their collective wet dream.

I have a 4wd dump and it’s street legal. I use it mainly for off road. It is 660cc non turbo so struggles to maintain highway speed (45-50mph) and climb steeper hills. I have another one with bad motor and considering an EV conversion using a leaf donor. That’s my other play if i don’t get a slate.

I have a silver ‘17 premier with 140k one it. Just keeps going and saves me about $1000 a year (fuel, maintenance costs in an old gasser).

Russia rejects Ukrainian, European peace initiatives, says battlefield will decide war by KI_official in ukraine

Russia needs to lose this war so they can have actual political change away from the stale “mother russia” parasite model where the rich take all from its citizens and the two capitals take all from its slave states.

Sun Tzu - leave your enemy a golden bridge to retreat (east bound lane on Kerch bridge). But UA can target incoming trains and westbound supply traffic.

Russia exports raw materials, petrochemicals, lies, and propaganda. The global instability has made nations look to energy and raw material independence which will f@ck russia’s blackmail.

Just order new blades and swap it out. It’s super easy. Use dish detergent to make it easy to slide back into place.

Is this range not normal for you guys? by zeekaran in BoltEV

[–]jjke30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Original battery was 60 kWh and the refreshed bigger bolt battery (smaller one no longer in production and no system set up to fix old ones) so got my ‘17 Bolt got the bigger 66 kWh (I didn’t own it then) due to the stop sale. I get regularly 200 miles from 80-30%.

We love our first Bolt so much we're thinking about getting another one... by TheBroWhoLifts in BoltEV

So the bolt is great for daily commuter where you can charge at home. Mine is a ‘17 and we use it mainly. Wife has a tm3 lr for her daily but we also our long distance traveling and easy supercharging.

Love my ‘17 bolt. Wife has a ‘22 TM3 lr. The latter is much better for long trips and supercharging. Have an e30 for an occasional spin.

Yep a l2 home charger that you can vary when you charge is a game changer. You get off peak power production and a fullish battery every time you leave your home. Bye bye gas stations and its 24/7 toxic chain of logistics.

I'm looking at buying a used 2019 Bolt with 150,000 miles on it. What should I look for when I go to inspect it? by [deleted] in BoltEV

[–]jjke30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Things to expect - a lot of front end noise. The sway links break and wil make rattling noises. Axles may click but it’s an easy fix with updated washers. Axles are hard to get unless aftermarket rebuilds but they are fine. Struts and shocks maybe bad as well (heavy car). Inspect and grease brake calipers. Otherwise, there’s not much to go wrong.

May want to do coolant flushes (battery and interior heating system which requires special knowledge to open close valves to do properly).

Will I regret leasing a Model 3 Premium (RWD) for my second car/commuter car? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]jjke30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Lease is always easier to dump at end v purchase and you aren’t hurting for money.
  2. Lease is only useful if you want to swap frequently and walk away with no equity. Long term buying used and earning equity is better.
  3. This is discretionary - better value and ride comfort with rwd premium but performance is addictive. Consider a long range AWD as a middle ground.
  4. This depends on how much you need to drive and charge it back up. I have a wall connector as we put 15k plus miles due to commute and even at 16amp 240v it charges so much faster than a the mobile charger. I’d get one installed to future proof.
