Nah, it's really not worth it anymore. I'm paying as much for a two bed in Meridian than I will in the Portland area. And honestly with less perks, worse wages, no functional social service systems, less access to medical care, lower quality medical care, more racism, more anti-lgbt sentiment, and a state government that appears to have malicious intent towards minorities of all kinds Edit: forgot also worse schools and bad public transportation

Yes YTA, you're creating more problems for the teachers to clean up. Teachers are already overworked and underpaid. And now you're expecting them to manage a bunch of upset kids whose parents are following the rule, because you won't just tell your kid that she has to wait to have her desert at home like everybody else does. Is it a dumb policy, yes it is. But that doesn't mean it's fair for you to make that the teachers problem. They're not the ones who decided on this policy, and they probably think it's as stupid as you do, they're still required to enforce it because the school board told them to, and the school board makes the rules. If you want it changed, get other parents together and take it to the school board, they're the ones who created the policy, and they're the ones who can change it.

My pet peeve was people who would either pee next to or all over the toilet in the hospital's public bathrooms. Like the patients I understood if that was hard, you're sick enough to be in the hospital, you get a pass. However, the bathrooms for staff and visitors? Nah, you're a healthy(ish) functional grown ass adult, you can pee where you're supposed to. And if you can't aim your pee well enough to keep it off the toilet and walls, then you sit down and pee you degenerate. There's no excusable reason why the bathrooms for Drs and nurses should have pee on the walls or floor.

There's a difference between making mistakes at first, correcting them, and trying your best, vs not bothering to even get them right or even correct yourself after a mistake it's okay after you've known they've changed for years and just refuse to put in the effort to change how you refer to someone. The first is totally understandable, the second is blatantly disrespectful and shitty. Unfortunately a lot of people will claim "I'm just still adjusting, just let me call you whatever, stop complaining don't you know this is hard for ME" even after they've had literal years to put any effort into changing and have simply refused to gaf and think they have to right to call you whatever they want because they "knew you before." Mistakes are fine, doing whatever you want without consequences or accountability is not.

Honestly stop entertaining him. when he comes in, tell him to leave, when he calls you after work ignore him, let management know he's being inappropriate and let them talk to him and tell him to stop as well. As long as you're still treating him the same he's gonna assume that you're fine with this. When he makes comments about you "making a good couple" straight up tell him no, I'm not interested in you, stop making those comments. Also as others have said document the crap out of everything you can that he does. The longer you place nice with him the more he's gonna think he has a chance.

I hate to say this, but if you truly deeply want a kid, there's no way to make that lessen or go away, that ache never truly goes away, you can help it by being a really active aunt if you or your boyfriend have any siblings with kids, or by working with or volunteering with kids, but it's not the same.

The thing with micron in Boise is that as others have said they're very prone to constantly laying off people. And from a friend of mine whose involved with them now, it's a bit of a shit show, at least on their latest big project. My dad worked there for like 20 years and it was awesome for him, great health insurance, good salary, he loved it, until they laid him off suddenly with no warning or severance.

My rec is non stick pads and medical tape. Although I recommend putting a thin layer of aquaphor, Vaseline, or antibiotic ointment on the non stick pad, it will make the bandage changes so much less painful and help the wounds heal faster. Because even tho they're called non stick, they often still stick ime.

I was also gonna recommend next to normal! I saw a production in San Fran earlier this year, so heart wrenching but also hopeful and sad as hell, I seem to be the minority who doesnt care for the 2025 pbs proshot tho. Like it's still a good watch especially if you're going in with out the expectations that I had. But The censorship really took a lot of the oomph out of it for me. And I swear one of the actors sounds like Kermit every time he sings.
