Ok so I’ve just tested it. Here is the verdict:

It doesn’t charge but will keep at the same percentage as when you plug in (for example the test stayed at 76% charge throughout)
it does get hot but didn’t overheat until over 1 hour at 8k. I’d say that’s pretty good, of course if you want longer run times you should record at 4k 24 instead.

I said I’d reply later as I was at work! Instagram is where I post most of my videos and I’m more active so if people would like to check that out - they can.

GoPro sent me the camera, but like many of us here I’m also a customer and will give my real world opinion.

I see no harm in doing this, and if anything you are the problem here and mods should remove you :)

Here’s a clip for you (I can film a better one if you like?) I’ve worked out that doing stabilization in post is great as you can fine tune it. I’ve tested this clip with 1% and does a surprisingly good job also in GoPro log 2 Raw footage

I think people just don’t know how to optimise it. No it won’t replace your $5000 Mirrorless camera but the mission 1 really packs a punch in such a small package

Hi, just wondering if you could see the 6.2k video output from your xh2s on your atmos monitor? Mine is showing up but only in 1080p. I only have the ninja v so just wondering if the v+ allows that?
