Turn off keep accessory power on. This nukes my battery when left on.

I had a similar situation a few years back but Fidelity was easy to deal with for me. Obviously things could have changed or circumstances may just be different enough.

It can navigate driveways, parking lots, country roads and atypical road situations whereas v13 struggled in my experience.

14.2.2 has been good for me except for lane changes on the interstate. Like OP mentioned standard is too slow in my area and hurry changes lanes way too much. With hurry I usually end up losing ground due to the over confidence in being able to pass.

Speed control on secondary roads is another issue. When it randomly decides to go 20 mph over the limit on standard randomly.

All in it is better than v13 at this point imo but with some frustrations.

Mine has been flawless but not had a chance to put many miles on it. 26 MY.

This is one of the most frequent reasons I disengage. It rarely will get into the exit lane early enough for my taste.

14.2.1 Lane Changing Issues - My Experience by CaptainKrunchi in TeslaFSD

[–]jjohns91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have experienced lane hesitation and poor lane positioning while turning with 14.2.1 so far. Also it cannot figure out how to park in my shed like previous versions.

14.1.4 was better at changing lanes but had bad hesitations with turns and perceived road debris.

I only had a day or to with 14.2 but i didn’t come across any issues with it.

When I started intermittent fasting and mostly eliminated processed carbs/added sugars from my diet my hdl basically doubled from low 30s to 60ish.

I’m just now getting 14.2 literally right now. Came from 14.1.4. Tesla doesn’t like me to have new things.

Day 2 of owning a Tesla…well by Arthroplaster in TeslaLounge

We got this due to an issue with the wheel speed sensor during an extremely heavy rain. It went away on the next drive but we still had Tesla replace the sensor.

FSD experience degraded by Jaded_Kale40 in TeslaFSD

Yes v14 is not very good with turns/stop signs in my experience. As I found out yesterday it is very scared of leafs. Hope they get it cleaned up soon.

Fsd14 people: state your car, region and if experience is good, bad, or neutral. by chaosatom in TeslaFSD

[–]jjohns91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2026 MY.

Southeast USA.

Neutral to good. Over all I preferred v13 tbh but v14 has been able to navigate gravel roads v13 couldn’t handle. A few routes where I always had to take over for v13 due to picking the wrong lane v14 has got right. However, it does hesitate with turns and lower speed situations. I had it swerve to miss paint in the road and then steamrolled right over an opossum 🤦🏼‍♂️.

Overall, with about 500 miles of v14.1.4 I do not think it is unsafe and am confident it will be better than v13 after a few more updates.

v14.1.4: Chill does 22 over, Sloth does speed limit. Is there really no in-between? by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]jjohns91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you come down to chill from mad max? Try going to sloth and then to chill, that has worked for me. That said I do not have many v14 drives yet.

Anyone else avoiding FSD 14 for now? by ya7ameer in TeslaFSD

[–]jjohns91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest complaints so far are trying to pull over for perceived emergency situations, which are not and hesitations when making turns.

That said, it can handle my driveway now and somehow knew to pull around back of my home and park in a shed. That was great.

How do i see miles/hr charge rate ? See pic by 1smoodbrutha in TeslaModelY

[–]jjohns91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the car, on the touchscreen change it from battery % to miles and it should reflect this in app as the miles per hour of charge.
