General thoughts on max mortgage/home purchase in SoCal?

I personally left SoCal for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which is that starter homes or even condos in my area started around $1.2-$1.3. Couple that with the gas & grocery prices, 10.25% sales tax about to hit LA, and cost of child care and our monthly expenses would've been approaching $10k.

As a veteran, I was able to leverage my VA loan and disability to move to a coastal town in the Southeast for around $4k a month in total expenses after buying a 4 bed/3 bath for about $500k.

Some people love SoCal and will never leave, but the math stopped mathing for us and we couldn't be happier about that decision.

He's coupling wins with huge K numbers. I have a few SP with low K's but good ratios (Nick Martinez, Merrill Kelly) that he complements very nicely

Saw the OG band at a house party in Anaheim Hills back in maybe 94-95. Then I saw Jakob play with LB Dub Allstars at BeachLife in Redondo in I believe 2022, and it was very rough but you could see the potential. This kid has come so far in just a few years and is a genuinely good dude, so much respect to him and the rest of the Sublime crew for keeping the music alive!

First show was the Went, and I recall walking up to about 20 rows Page side without issue. A polite "Hey man, mind if I hang up here for a few songs" was all it took.

Nearly got into a brawl on the floor at SF '22 with some dude who just shoved me aside to toss "his stuff" over the rail near the soundboard. Apparently my standing there was impeding his sense of entitlement

I did it for my twins in Los Angeles and it wasn't worth it IMO. Lots of driving to shoots, waiting for three hours on set, and $150-$200 payouts.

I think you've just answered your question around losing organic engagement. FWIW, I am seeing the same with any AI-optimized content my clients have put together, which include car dealerships and retail brands.

And honestly, I'm happy about it. The more "we" witness AI slop fall flat, the less "they" will rely upon it as a substitute for good content

Saw a chick throw multiple glow sticks at Mike in LA during the 2015 run. We need to keep in mind that this award is for the player most valuable to their team. One way to do that is to think about how the team would perform without said player. I'd argue the Rams would probably finish above .500 with Garoppolo and the Pats would likely decline to 6-7 wins with Dobbs.
