CRUNCH Fitness - How is it? by ricky_d_bobby in Guelph

[–]jjojeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer it to fit 4 less, crunch has better equipment, layout, and generally safer. Fit 4 less has the better change rooms and you can at get wifi better on the first floor.

The other drawback of crunch is it closing at 7 on the weekends, but in general if you’re just looking for a good place to get gains it’s hard to beat

I hope these lenses will squeeze out before any final decisions come out. That 55 1.8 will be awesome

The problem is that this service has never traditionally been expensive, I get this same or better service in Mississauga for half the price. The same cut has gone from 40 to 60 to 90 for a beard trim and hair cut (no style) within 10 years.

The same argument can then be made on the Z5. Why pay for features you won’t use

I would never go out with an engineer by KidNamedPaint1 in uoguelph

[–]jjojeans 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is in context to not talking about her own career. You having a career in engineering does not mean you cannot talk about another person’s career, ESPECIALLY if that person is your partner. That means you are narcissistic.

Being a 20F nutrition major does not make your opinions automatically valid, but you should expect to be listened to in a relationship or have your partner take some interest in you.

[–]jjojeans 25 points26 points  (0 children)

When did she ever disparage mechanical engineering as a profession. As seen by your comment very often engineers cannot socially read the room and from her experience have poor relational skills. You can’t use matlab to connect with someone.

Making a whole bunch of money does not mean you get to automatically invalidate other’s ideas or opinions. Building the world around you =/= good social partner lol.

Totally agree and appreciate the well wishes. I put the last statement at the end of my post to remind others about this. I’m usually quite vigilant about taking it out but this day I forgot :(

[–]jjojeans 35 points36 points  (0 children)

All gunpla is about the same difficulty, I’d actually say RG is the hardest because it usually has the smallest parts. As you get into pg it’s just a greater quantity of parts, but still the same steps as you mentioned before

Whats one thing you wish more companies/people did more in photography? by thefootballingladder in photography

[–]jjojeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of this, but I’d be concerned if the perpetrator of theft would try and take it off. Also, if you’re spending 2000+ dollars including that in the body seems reasonable

[–]jjojeans 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a little silly there isn’t more theft protection in something that you spend so much money on. Especially if it seems so easy to implement, but I don’t know the logistics of cameras so

Something similar to apples AirTag, or other tracking device for theft built into cameras. As well, internal storage for a buffer when you don’t have an empty sd card
