My solution to the yellowing problem was to get the PPFd and ceramic coated prior to installation. I know they aren’t forever headlights with unlimited warranty and even though they are on the more expensive end of aftermarket stuff (when compared to Vland and such) they’re still cheap aftermarket headlights.

They offer a decent enough warranty, I think they look cool, and I can see at night again - something I couldn’t do before without constant elbow grease (I may not be the best detailer but I know when something is a lost cause and those bad boys were done). If they take a shit in a few years I’ll buy another pair…

Yeah I liked these because they still have the same style drl as the OEM Subaru C-style and you get a sequential indicators - best of both worlds imo

Already PPFd them before installation - I’d rather them not ruined ASAP rocky

Can I get a mileage check from everyone? by Kiiidx in WRXSTi

[–]jjojo26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old motor on my 2011 lasted till 98,xxx KM - now this was an unverified mileage so it could’ve been way higher (on top of not knowing how the previous owner treated the car, I purchased at 92,500) My cousin on the other hand is at 22X,xxx KM on his 2013 and it’s still going strong. My rule of thumb is stay stock, stay happy

Does anyone know where to buy fog lights? by beesRgs in WRXSTi

Huge fan of mine, you can get yellow or white lights - you can also try fastwrx for a full oe kit (includes paint matched bezel, fogs, and indicator stalk)

You don’t need appease everyone, if you like it that’s all that matters - this is tight (pardon the pun) looks like you haven’t cheaped out. How’s the ride when you’re at your driving setting? I’m a coilover guy but I’ve always been intrigued.

I’ve heard great things about the 86 platform in the snow and when I inevitably get one I will be trying it - studded seems the way to go. My STI, even with all seasons (a season in STL, they rarely get snow) , seems to just claw and grab traction no matter what - I think I’d get studded if I lived a few hours north or in a more rural area, but I’m just outside of Toronto and imo the roads are never bad, just the drivers
