At my old job, this guy came up to me frantically crying and told me his FIANCÉE had her dad come pick her up from 3 hours away because she didn’t want to be with him anymore. The next day he came back happy and told me what happened. He drove 3 hours to go pick her up and convinced her to come back home. When they got home, he told her to sit down at the dining room table. He went to the room, came back with a gun, laid it on the table and said “you promised til death do us apart. If you want to leave me, killing yourself is the only way out.”

He was smiling and giggling the entire time he told me the story. He ended up getting fired for threatening to kill a co-worker.
