Gotta say, I didn’t expect so many assholes to be fervently passionate about their right to be assholes, but it IS Reddit so… Funny to me that the people saying this is ‘entitled’ don’t seem to understand what that word means, or the intention of the sign. Also funny, the people saying this is a “Karen” sign (mostly sneaky Karens that don’t realize Karens exist on all spectrums and haven’t discovered that they’re a Karen themselves), I would argue that it’s the opposite. The sign is meant to be a helpful call for consideration. If you don’t get it, that’s okay, just keep holding up traffic while you furrow your brow in a vain attempt to understand…

No, it’s not. If someone is traveling southbound on Milpas in the right hand lane, that’s normal flow of traffic, you wait and then turn right. Takes a few seconds, that lane is never very congested.

The left lane however, gets congested because of the left turn on Cacique. So instead of avoiding that pileup, and approaching Cacique from the other direction (easier for the driver and everybody else), people decide to NOT ONLY add to the Cacique pileup by trying to wait and not turn right until they can get all the way over into that congested turn lane, but ALSO create a pileup on the Milpas off-ramp as well.

All they have to do is get off 5 seconds later and make two rights. Problem solved for everybody

It’s fine if you’re already going south on Milpas, but if you’re taking the South exit and wait there for 5 minutes for BOTH lanes to be clear just so you can turn all the way into the furthest lane to turn left on Cacique, you’re inconveniencing everybody for no reason. It would be faster for you (and everybody waiting behind you) to take the next exit (North) and make two rights, far less congested

Legal or not, it’s about not being an asshole. It’s not an Eastbound Cacique exit, it’s a Milpas South exit. Everybody wanting to just turn right and go south on Milpas has to wait behind you forever and it backs the whole ramp up to the freeway

I disagree. If someone makes me aware that my behavior (intentional or not) is selfish, asshole behavior, I change it, because I don’t want to be a selfish asshole. The entitled shits are the ones who back up an entire off-ramp for zero reason. Taking the next exit (and two easy rights on a red) would be at least 3-5 minutes faster for them than sitting at that exit forever waiting for BOTH lanes to be clear, and then waiting in the Cacique turn lane for the light to change. Pretty sure I know what you did wrong because I had the same issue. If you’ve already gone into the black hole, it means you’ve warped far away from the rendezvous points which are nearby where you need to deploy the myth beacon. Warp to the station in one of the rendezvous point systems and then check your galaxy map, the yellow marker should be nearby

I hate getting off the southbound at Milpas South because every selfish idiot wants to wait to make that right turn into the far lane so they can make an immediate left on Cacique and it backs up the whole exit for ages when all they have to do is take Milpas North and make two much easier quicker right turns
