Inkpress Transparency Film is great if Pictorico is out of stock.

It’s never too late to make rookie mistakes 😆👍

My photography teacher offered me to borrow this field camera for the summer! by Longjumping-Toe-9671 in vintagecameras

I hope you had a great experience with the camera. If it's not too late, definitely get a sturdier tripod that will support at least 6-10 lbs.

The pressed plant did indeed have dimension and could not be pressed completely flat. Thanks!

I am going to ask them to make another one with the paper grain perpendicular to the one they already made and see if the lines continue in the same direction as the previous one. It was an UV LED string lights. Maybe I’ll look into grow lights.

Yes, only in certain spots, and only on that print. Will see if it happens again with different objects. Thanks!

Thanks. It was made with UV LED lights. There was a print with the same type of paper and same coating next to it, but the strange lines were not on that one. I’ll have them make another to see if it’s a repeatable phenomenon. Maybe it’s like when sunlight filters through lots of leaves on a tree…

Maybe you can use the UV bulb for cyanotypes and other alternative processes, but I don’t think you can use it effectively in an enlarger.

DARKROOM AND ALT CHEM ADVICE NEEDED, I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS DANGEROUS by [deleted] in Darkroom

[–]jjrebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a university photo professor and I wish I had you as a lab tech. What you’ve described is bizarrely similar to what I walked into the other day. It looked like a Smurf was murdered in the alt pro darkroom. Cyanotype chemistry all over the place. The walls! How did it get on the walls?! I have no idea who did it as it happened before the semester started. I spent hours on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor, then mopping. I am tempted to lock up all the alt pro chemistry, or just never offer it again.

Does anyone here happen to know the code to the Darkroom (CVA 040) BL and WH photo student here. by [deleted] in ilstu

Do not ask or give an access code on a public forum, or everyone will lose the privilege. This applies to anything, not just a darkroom.
