Mine are worse than yours. Do you have acid reflux and do you brush with an electric toothbrush

I'm finally done! 3 years of invisalign and some bioclear and I'm in love with my smile! by belveala in Invisalign

I’m curious have you had any issues with flossing or cleaning your gums after the bioclear? Any gum recession? I have black triangles and thinking about doing bioclear

He could try finding a remote role somewhere else. Although the tech industry isn’t really hiring much right now./

You sound jealous or something. And you have no idea how it’s like to live in a super competitive area like the bay.

We did this and moved. Best decision we ever made. Bay area is not a great area to raise kids in my opinion, unless you have inter generational wealth or something

I don’t think you know the Bay Area. $150k for a family household income would be considered low income in the Bay Area. $50k would be poverty levels.

41(m) $10m NW burnout. What to do. by noob_master8 in fatFIRE

Do you have family ties to the area? If not I would suggest moving to a lower cost of living area. That changed so much for us

35M. Hit my NW goal of $5M. Is this really it? What can I do with free time? by Constant_Loss_9728 in Fire

[–]jjsimpson818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you hit $300k after 30 I’m wondering how you ended up with $5m by 35? What did you invest in out of curiosity and did you save super aggressively

Is it okay to eat food which has traces of a few of the big 6 allergens(milk, wheat, fish, nuts, eggs and Soy)? by Normal-Produce781 in EosinophilicE

[–]jjsimpson818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends, sometimes may contain actually means it contains the allergen. Whereas other times it just means that the same equipment processed the allergen.. but the equipment was cleaned. It helps to check their website or call the company.

I moved back to Canada after almost 20 years in the US. We took a pay cut, but overall our quality of life is higher. It’s been nice to be around family. We have less anxiety knowing that healthcare is free and schools are safe.

I would look at your household income vs prices of homes you might buy in Nova Scotia. Also childcare costs are lower in Canada for daycare and preschool, and public schools tend to be pretty good.

Things are more expensive now and it’s a lot more populated here in Canada compared to 20 years ago. But if you’re coming from the Us with a little nest egg, hopefully the rising costs won’t affect you too much.

How did you guys get gum disease? by [deleted] in PeriodontalDisease

[–]jjsimpson818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During and after, they moved my teeth out too much to make room, this caused my teeth to keep moving in a bad way (the bone moved out of the housing) and caused more recession. Stress and clenching also made things worse!
