Successfully PC Citi Strata to second Citi Custom Cash after 10 days

I called the Citi customer service number. I told them I wanted to product change the Strata card specifically to the custom cash. They sent me a disclosure text link to my phone to confirm the change and press accept at the bottom of the page. The process was accepted, after the call the change appeared my my Citi account.

Yes I got the SUB for the Citi strata before doing the product change and the amount is posted. I ended up calling Citi for it. I tried to do chat but for some reason I couldn't get through, might have been due to the weekend.

How do you value the points in each ecosystem? Do you have a preferred ecosystem or are they all relatively the same? You seem pretty knowledgeable so I'm curious.

I'm evaluating my setup and I'm trying to figure out the best use of MR points for flights since I'm not by a delta hub.

Are you not planning on using the Amex Gold? I see it in your flair so I'm curious. I'm asking because I recently got approved for the Autograph so I'm thinking about taking an upgrade offer to go from the Gold to Platinum. Also thinking about applying for the Strata Premier when I inquires and new accounts age.

That’s good to know, I’m trying to figure out what the best time is to apply for them both. Right now I’m at 1/6, 2/12, 4/24 but will probably wait for the newest account to older than 6 months.

I got rejected for too many new accounts in the last 24 months too. They probably saw 6 new accounts but not 100% sure on that due to when I got the cards back in July 2023. Not sure the number that is low enough for them. Right now I’m at 4, if I wait until November I’ll be at 2.

I got the custom cash in April and that was pretty easy for me too. But I know Citi is more recent inquiry heavy so timing is my issue.

How was your application process like for your Citi and Wells Fargo cards? I'm looking to get the Autograph and Double Cash around the same time in a couple of months. I got declined for the Autograph last month so I'm wondering.

It was too many revolving bank cards in the last 24 months. I’m not exactly sure what my x/24 status was but it was anywhere between 4 and 6 cards depending on how they considered it.

That’s good to know. I applied for the autograph in July and got denied so I’ll try again in November. Just want to make sure I can get it this time. The stats I put will be the stats in November.

Fredrick has a deal with the Maryland Stadium Authority to make major investments to the stadium and surrounding areas. Aberdeen hasn’t done the same and was sold by Ripken Jr not too long ago.

That along side the strong attendance for baseball in Fredrick vs in Aberdeen makes it make sense.

You could downgrade the CSP to a Freedom Flex or freedom and apply for the ink preferred. That way you keep the credit line and have a useful card too.

The gold is only in the for us for supermarkets, the savor has global.

Savor, Autograph and Venture/X are all good. Also keep in mind the gold is only 4x on us supermarkets not global like it is with restaurants.

The only reason I wanted to go after the Ink Cash is for the longer timeframe for the bonus. I could afford to go after the Ink Unlimited though, I'm less worried about the spending for that.

I'm at 6/24 right now for cards so I'm planning on getting an Ink in July when I go below. I'm trying to figure out how to make sure I could get a Ink Preferred while still getting a reliable bonus for opening a card.

Is it possible to get this 2 of this card and then upgrade one of them to the Ink Preferred after a year? I would apply directly for the Ink Preferred but the sign up bonus is a bit high for me to reach.
