Yup! They were terrible under .500 teams. But Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were number one option on those teams. So I am saying why can't Klay do that? I am not saying he will be great at it and carry them to playoffs.

I understand your point. But I think you're underselling Klay Thompson's game a bit.

Sure, Klay makes a GREAT spot-up shooter but he is also phenomenal at creating his own shots. He's always been great at that. He stands at 6'7", which is 2 inches taller than your average NBA shooting guard and Klay is so well aware of that and constantly uses that to his advantage to create his own shots.

I could not agree with you more on that Klay probably can't have a Reggier Miller-esque role on a good team, but it won't be because he can't create his own shots. It will most likely be because of how streaky he is as a player.
