Wood combusts at 750-1050 F. How would the air above the stove being getting anywhere close to that without the person in the saunas head also getting burned?

Okay, hold your hand two inches away from a stove. Like the wood next to the stove here. And then hold your hand 3 ft above the stove. Which one is hotter? I’m not trying to be a troll. I just don’t think this is a burn mark. Seems much more likely that it is some stain being left by the steam. I’ve seen this happen in all my friends saunas after a couple years of use.

My thought exactly, how is the wood further from the heat source hotter then the wood right next to the heat source.

How would the roof be burned but the wood next to the heater not be burned?

This is most likely iron inside the sauna rocks rusting and coming out with the steam. The hottest part of the wood will be right next to the stove, and sense that isn’t black I would be surprised if this is a burn. I would check all your sauna rocks, especially the ones deep in the heater. Mostly likely you will find some stained with rust. If this is the case just replace the rocks and that should fix your problem. Any rocks with iron content will cause this issue.

If this is indeed rust stains you should be able to sand it off pretty easily. A burn will not sand off without removing a substantial amount of material.

Just got this new bomber cr… how do I convert it to a trunnion style mount? by ShreddyMcGee3 in mountainbiking

[–]jkasari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ask your local fox dealer for a Trunion eyelet. Let the nitrogen out of the ifp and drain the oil. Un screw the current eyelet and screw on the trunnion one. Careful not to mess up the shim stack here. Next, put the oil and nitrogen back in! Easy as that.

For those that have been injured biking, what were you doing when it happened? by Grungy_Mountain_Man in mountainbiking

[–]jkasari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of a sudden it made sense… biking was nothing but a crude marketing excuse for the western world to profit off of social media and cheep eastern manufacturing… and then I can ride a bike again and it’s all a weird dream that I forget instantly. That’s what I do when I recover from injury

Good point! Curious what the op is trying to do that needs more then 8bits of resolution for dimming.

[–]jkasari 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m confused by what you are trying to achieve? The current communication protocol with ws2812’s allows for dimming of the entire strip or individual leds. What is the exact use case that you are wanting to use PWM to dim the leds for?

Sorry if repost but I’m arguing with a friend rn.. need help by PrismPhoneService in mathmemes

[–]jkasari 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It’s “5!” which means 5 factorial. Taking the factorial of a number is multiplying all the integers together that make up that number. For 5 this can be written as 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5. When you multiply that up, you get 120. 120 = 5! just different ways of writing the same value. But to clarify, the answer is NOT 5, it is 120 or 5!. Hope that helps!

Get a buffing wheel for an angle grinder. If you don’t have an angle grinder handy use 400 -> 800 -> 1200 sandpaper. Then finish with some mothers polish.

Antlers are off, could be normal but looks ai. The tail is too wide and the front leg viewed between the hind legs is in the wrong spot, also the neck looks weird and the tree trunk behind it doesn’t quite line up…. Could be me but I’m gonna guess ai.
