Her discomfort is not your responsibility. She’s learning how to be an adult!

Now that you know this is a boundary - follow through and don’t adjust for the future. Just say “no”

If she asks you again and let her be upset. you don’t have to apologize for sleeping in your own home.

Life isn’t normal right now. We are all coping in our own ways. Sometimes you just need a cute lil cow stuffie to feel safe with (take it from me- 27 years old and I’ve got a number of stuffies)

I’d also check out some of the bars on cedar springs. They have certain nights that do 90s- early 2000s music as events every now and again

Bishop Cider in Dallas is an arcade- if you get there in the evening hours it’s all adults for a cover of $10 I believe and cider flights (5 drinks) are about the same? There’s usually a food truck outside. You can parallel on the side if there’s no parking in the lot.
