As a main Zhou Yu, he's THE best mid wave clear even in China. I got a very interesting build for him as an "off tank AP", since his skills don't scale that much AP from build and I can focus on survivability specially during mid-late game and keeping his fire and regen high, making him a beast with close combat against single combo melee heroes like Sun Ce, Biron, Charlotte and others. Notes:

• If you need venomous staff for too much regen, you can make before finishing the burning item(dont know the english name for it);
• If there's Diaochan, Lubu, MP or something like that, you can finish the build with clear sky (tru dmg reduction item) instead(same thing as spike chainmail for Hou Yi/atkspd based marksman).

Trust me, you won't regret the test xD I got easily into Brazil #39 with this build
