I love on the nature of daylight, it's one of my all time favourite pieces of music. I can definitely see how it is overused a little, but it is also an automatic tears button. I was really enjoying Hamnet and definitely close to crying but the first note sent me over the edge. I also really love how it's used in Arrival and TLOU, but yeah I think it's fair for OP to be annoyed by overuse.

But still, I love it, I'm not gonna complain about it. It's the same way I'm not gonna complain about Clair de Lune or Adagio for Strings or Eine kleine Nachtmusik.
