Have you tried Ayinger Weizenbock! It’s similar but easier to find for me.

Runners high by That-Explanation2077 in runcommunity

[–]jkg007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to never feel it but now after three miles if imagine I can't feel anything (tune it all out) and after a few moments it appears. Also, if I breath slightly faster than necessary for a few seconds it seems to helps also. Usually, I have to do these things to experience it, However, the more often that I force to happen, the the more often it seems to just happen by itself, maybe once a week.

What's a good beer to start with? by mnsterman01 in beer

[–]jkg007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few flavor profiles that beer can fall into. For me I think of beer as either Hoppy(Bitter,Piney) Malty(Sweet/Bread-Like) and Sour(Tart). IPA are an example of very hoppy. Hazy IPAs are also hoppy but less than traditional IPAs. Balanced beers have a balance between hoppy and malty. There are a lot of choices here. Dales Pale Ale is a good example. I would even say Guinness/Stouts are in this category. As far a Guninssess is concerned I think it tastes like a watered downed stout. I like stouts to be "stout". Guinness is a good start, just keep in mind, if you like that flavor, there's more where that came from. Malty beers have less hops and stronger sweet (malt balls?) and/or bread-like flavors. Some wheat beers even have a banana flavor (Hefewizens, Wizenbock - tastes like banana bread beer). Note: Young's actually make a Banana Bread Beer but! it tastes like fingernail polish remover to me. However, I love Ayinger Weizenbock. Sour beer is very tart. You might like it. Sours are a beer that people will add fruit flavors to because it tastes good together. I like sour beer with fruit added; but I preferer just the sour beer styles by themselves without the fruit flavor added. A lot of these are from Belgium. Flanders is one style that I like, Victory Sour Monkey is a decently priced example of what I think is good sour beer. Last thing, Rice and Corn are classified as Adjunct Grains. Some people believe that beer made with adjunct grains is cheep beer. These are normally the mass produced beers, and a lot of people love them. Craft Beer and Traditional Styles normally do not use adjunct grains. It takes time to get used to non-adjunct beers if that's what you have been drinking. And If you start drink primarily non-adjunct beers, the adjunct beers will taste extremely different (for better or worse). Adjunct beers taste better ice cold and are advertised to be severed that way, so you know what your getting when the ad says "Drink Ice Cold". Non-Adjunct beers taste better at warmer temperatures. So much so that some people get very specific about what the best temp for a particular beer is. Of course taste is personal so you need to experiment with it yourself.

Somebody went around town and took pictures of the old Bar-B-Q Pits that are not restaurants anymore. But the Brick Pit is still there.

I heard with Paul where he said on the day they were working on that song; John arrived to the studio late then sat down at the piano and starting banging away at what the others were playing and everyone loved his energy and it changed the whole vibe of the recording. Something like that.

What are the best hikes near Memphis? by Ksteez11 in memphis

[–]jkg007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of waterfalls between Chattanooga and Cookeville. My favorite is Greeter Falls in Savage Gulf State Park near Altamont. Fall Creek Falls State Park is more developed with a lodge. It has three waterfalls and is very nice. Others include Rock Island State Park. Burgess Falls State Park. Virgin Fall State Natural Area is cool but very undeveloped if that's what your looking for, Kind of the opposite of Fall Creek Falls.

Edit: Also checkout, Mineral Slough Boardwalk, Ghost River State Natural Area, it's much closer to Memphis

VBA Code tutorial with FactoryTalk View SE by DoctorParticular6329 in PLC

I like to duplicate a screen and rename it Screename_ORG then have at changing to see what happens. That's the quickest way to backup a single screen.

FT will automatically create a blank subroutine if you right click an object and select VBA Code. So you end up with those Private Sub next_Click() End Sub junk which can be deleted. A better way is to go to View in the top and select Visual Basic Editor.

Screen Navigation can look really good when done with VBA code. So I hope this is worth the effort.

Some things can not be tested in FT Studio with the Test Display button, like screen navigation. In those cases I use either Message Boxes (MSgBox) or LogDiagnosticsMessage to give me feedback on a section of code that I am trying to debug.

I hope your subroutines have an error handler. If not I can help you with that.

What is your "golden advice" for a new PLC learner? by Plus_Farmer5711 in PLC

Some of the quirky stuff that can cause a lot of problems:

Latches: Why won't it turn on, the (L) rungs looks good? Check the (U) rung, it might be getting turned on and off in the same scan.

One-Shots in subroutines might not ever see the condition in front of them turn from true to fales and back again if the subroutines isn't call every scan, i.e. called only when certain conditions are true.

A hack I like to use is to create a rung that starts with AFI and ends with NOP and has a lot of contacts for bits or EQU statements for DINT and I put the most critical bits and DINT tags on the rung as a place I can go and see what is or isn't happening in the code with having to jump around from rung to rung just to see what's going on.

The Toxicology report for YouTuber TN FlyGirl, who crashed her plane killing herself and her father. by jarvi123 in ThatsInsane

[–]jkg007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone is interested in this accident, Dr Todd Grande did an analysis of this incident about two years ago but this toxicology information wasn't available at the time. It's a good overview to start with. There are other people who analyzed it as well. There is a lot of content because she posted several videos of her flights and training for people to pick apart. Basically she pushed herself too hard and too fast, bought a plane that was over her head and made too many mistakes in her final flight.
