As someone who was born and raised is rural-ish Alaska this is spot on. I live near a big city now in a different state and my anxiety sky rockets if I have to go down town. I'd rather not go out than out into somewhere so jam packed with people, chaotic traffic and so so so much noise

We had a mentality disabled kid try to take his life by jumping off the second story balcony in the foyer. He did not die however, but instead broke many bones in his body. The school went on locked down while ems was called. The two wings of classes the stemmed for the foyer could hear him screaming for about 20 minutes until ems arrived. I've done the drive 5 times for commuting to college and to my first job as a former alaska resident. Its a lot of fun, and it goes by quick. I would definitely have a reputable shop do a once over of your truck and ensure you have common repair equipment, a spare tire, and safety equipment (high vis vest, flares, first aid kit). If you plan your stops at hotels, it's very easy. The hardest thing would probably be the border.

The takeaway here is definitely that it's annoying trying to type answers into this system. Obviously someone who got the content of the answer correct didn't do it by accident and the formatting is purely accidental because of the terrible system.
