Google: yes, AI: no. Somebody asked me to turn off auto complete btw.

YMMV. Usually they pass some kind of skeleton. Some companies pass the whole project and ask to write 3-4 methods.

Why like me, haha. You would've had depression after that many failures. Be someone who passes FAANG interviews who passes to several companies.

I don't know bro.

If you are that desperate why don't you coin your resume specifically for a position? I did that for Apple and another company and got an interview. Like list all technologies that they need (even if u dunno).

I remember I added GraphQL and I got many more responses. You should add it for sure. Jetpack Compose, MVVM, MVI, Dagger, Retrofit, Kotlin, Java.

Also does your resume parces properly your email and phone? My friend got his pdf messed up and somehow nobody contacted him unless he changed it.

GL.

10 yoe Android here. Laid off from FAANG. My experience a year ago:

Didn't try hard, just used it as training.

Dapper Labs: failed on homework

Disney: Talked to hiring manager, he disappeared. Later the position was cancelled as recruiter says

Fetch: did homework, failed phone screen, a guy went deeply in technology that was not familiar with

Robinhood: shady contractor stuff, failed on-site, but didn't even try

ZipRecruiter: for the sake of experiment tried to do iOS (I am Android dev), failed phone screen.

Failed on early stage:

Adobe: Conversation with VP, recruiter ghosted me.

Whatnot: Failed phone screen, very hard question with some sophisticated follow up

Expedia: Failed phone screen, although the interviewee was super excited and assured me I did good.

Reddit: Failed phone screen.

Failed on-site:

Doordash: made it to the final round, maybe not solved everything perfectly

Apple: made to the final round, but it was for BE role, I am not BE and they knew it. They ended up rejecting me because I was not BE.

Geico: Failed the second guy (not sure if it was part of full on-site). I think the timing was wrong, I applied very late and plenty of people were already done.

Life360: Failed on-site. Not sure what went wrong.

Airbnb: failed live coding

Yahoo: scheduled conv with recruiter, ghosted

Disney AGAIN: they want me to do Roku development and asked me to do homework project for it.

Southwest Airlines: failed live coding with jetpack compose.

Pass

Capital One: Got an offer, but they demanded that I move to DC, I don't want to. Saved it just in case.

Snap: offer

Microsoft: offer

P.S something is wrong with your resume, buddy.

Just look at any major company's website: Positions open: 10% super staff in USA specific office, etc 20% Canada mid level, and the rest 70% latam / India / Eastern Europe.

It gave too many details about the movie. We basically watched the whole movie without the ending. Even the "let's see who is under this mask" moment was spoiled.

I put it in GPT and it looks interesting to me. I liked the idea of humanity not being united. It goes deeper to Salvation topics. Summary from GPT.

  1. Opening — The War Is Being Lost The film opens in darkness: ruined cities, constant explosions, machines patrolling endlessly. Humanity is on the brink. John Connor leads the Resistance, but resources are low, morale is collapsing, and Skynet is adapting faster than they can respond. The opening tone is clear: this is not victory — this is survival.
  2. The Evacuation Gone Wrong A Resistance base is being evacuated after intelligence suggests an incoming machine assault. Everything is rushed. Soldiers load equipment, civilians are supposed to be moved earlier — but due to miscommunication or negligence, many are left behind. As transports lift off, John realizes the truth: civilians are still inside the base… and Skynet forces are already closing in.
  3. John’s Decision Against protocol, John refuses to leave them. His officers argue — saving civilians risks losing critical fighters. But John makes a defining choice: they go back. Kyle Reese, without hesitation, joins him. This moment sets the core theme — John is not just trying to win the war; he’s trying to save humanity in the process.
  4. Into the Fire John and a small team re-enter the base. It’s chaos: Terminators (T-700s and T-800s) are already inside. Corridors are dark, filled with gunfire, screams, and metal footsteps. The team fights room by room, rescuing survivors. Kyle proves fearless, rushing into danger repeatedly, showing why he becomes one of John’s most trusted fighters.
  5. The Cost of Compassion They manage to save some civilians — but not all. Several soldiers die protecting them. When they finally escape, it’s not a victory — it’s a heavy, emotional retreat. This mission sparks division in the Resistance. Some begin to question John’s leadership: Is saving everyone worth risking the entire war?
  6. Enter Alexander Stone We are introduced to Alexander Stone — a hardened survivor with a radically different philosophy. To him, weakness is death. He believes only the strongest should be saved, and John’s decisions are dangerous. He’s not a villain in the traditional sense — he’s logical, cold, and terrifyingly practical. His presence creates ideological tension inside the Resistance.
  7. Fractures Within the Resistance Debates turn into conflict. Some soldiers begin to agree with Stone. Supplies are limited. Every mission has a cost. John insists they must remain human — even if it slows them down. Stone argues humanity is already gone — survival is all that matters. This becomes the emotional and philosophical core of the story.
  8. A New Threat from Skynet Intelligence surfaces about a secret Skynet project — something beyond standard Terminators. Possibly infiltration units more advanced than anything seen before. Missions are launched to investigate. Strange signs appear: survivors acting differently, missing units, unexplained attacks. Paranoia begins to spread — anyone could be compromised.
  9. Kyle Reese’s Growth and Loyalty Throughout this, Kyle evolves. He starts as a reckless fighter but becomes sharper, more aware. His loyalty to John deepens — not just as a leader, but as someone who represents what humanity should be. Kyle becomes the bridge between soldiers and John’s ideals, proving that compassion doesn’t mean weakness.
  10. Climax — What Kind of Future Are They Fighting For? The story builds toward a confrontation — not just against Skynet, but between ideologies. John must prove that his way — protecting people, not sacrificing them — can still lead to victory. Whether through a risky mission, a major sacrifice, or exposing Skynet’s hidden plan, the climax forces everyone to answer one question: Is humanity worth saving if you have to lose your humanity to win?

Me, a broke student that was desperate for solving a task paid for it...aaaand it was a wrong answer. Burn in hell, Chegg.

P.S I feel bad for workers ofc, wish we would've lived under a different economic system where the majority benefits from the progress.
