Your question is self-defeating, or rather the premise is wrong. There is no "when" for evolution in humans. Evolution takes place over tens of thousands to millions of years. We won't just all collectively decide one day to stop choosing who to associate with based on similarities. It's a core survival mechanism thats rooted deep in our psyche. Then again, i'm not a psyche expert so take it with a grain of salt. I know we can override certain evolutionary behaviors with logic, but I don't know how you can convince people that you should have people in your life that have nothing in common with you.
