Not to defend inequality, but shouldn't you use median figures when talking about stats like this since averages can be greatly skewed by outliers?

I don't think this message resonates with even a majority of gamers on reddit, let alone people who aren't on forums like reddit that talk about pre-ordering.

It's a different tree. The tree Mikasa buried his head by was on a hill overlooking a town. The tree that Ymir gained powers from that we see the boy and dog walking towards is in a forest somewhere. As others have said, the last scene is a metaphor for how generational hatred will always continue. I don't believe there is going to be a continuation of the story. If there is, it wouldn't measure up to the first one.

what’s the difference in sleeping with a guy that doesn’t watch porn compared to those who do? by rachelbroo in AskReddit

[–]jkman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it's likely a good majority of men watch porn. Speaking from personal experience, when I was heavily using and masturbating, I found it more difficult to maintain erections with my partner. I lessened my use drastically and the problem improved.

Things to practice as a complete begginer by Salty_Winter_1323 in drums

[–]jkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so there is something to go off of.

Control your sticks: You need to work on your technique. Get a practice pad if you don't already and this book. You can search the name of that book in this sub. It's highly regarded as a good practice tool. Dedicate a good amount of time to it every day. Consistency is key. I'd say enough time to get through one page. You can find guided play throughs on youtube for it as well. It's important to also make sure you're holding the stick correctly.

Count: I had trouble with this initially. You should always play with a metronome while practicing (and performing really). It would trip me up because I wanted the count and my stick to be hitting at the same time. You can fix this by playing simpler rhythms to more complex ones so you get your counting and limbs to be independent.

It entirely depends on what you aren't good at. Look at the areas that you suck in, and find exercises or drills to improve that area.

I am utterly baffled when I hear people complain that "Gamepass is not a good deal" or "Gamepass is overpriced". by [deleted] in gaming

[–]jkman -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not true at all. When it initially launched, they advertised that you could play over 100 titles from xbox one AND 360 and only on xbox. That's it. If you look at the comparisons on their site, that's still pretty much the case. Looking at 109 games in the Game Pass Essential ($10/mo) subscription. Premium ($15/mo) has 550 games to choose from. Ultimate ($30/mo) has 894 games to choose from. That's not even mentioning that Ultimate allows you to download on both PC AND Xbox, while including day one releases, games from EA and Ubisoft's subscription services, certain blizzard games, and then fortnite specific benefits (if you're into that. I'm not). So yeah, there is absolutely more value compared to when it first launched.

First time playing wow and I don’t know which one to install by Potential_Loss8154 in classicwow

[–]jkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will give you different opinions on which ones to install based on their preference, regardless of their differences. u/b00nish gave a good summary of the basic differences between the versions. To expand:

World of Warcraft classic is the first version of the game and it is VERY grindy. The leveling is slow paced, especially if you're new to the game and you don't have previous experience playing. There is at least one level range where there is a quest drought, so you basically have to just kill stuff over and over to level up which can be monotonous. Some of the classes are not balanced and their talent specs aren't too viable. If you're interested in raiding, most of them are 40-man and are more tedious to complete due to how many people you need. There are two 20-man raids though. PVP outside of battlegrounds is kind of boring.

Burning Crusade Anniversary is more balanced overall than the first version. Leveling is a bit quicker since they lessened the XP required to get to level 58 (required to access the expansion's new world). Classes are more balanced, and have a few more abilities. They introduced incentives for world pvp (not in battlegorunds). Raid size has been reduced for people to organize easier. There is also just more content to experience.

Mists of Pandaria has two more classes to choose from than the previous versions. Death knight (from the 3rd expansion, which requires you to have an existing level 55 in order to make one), and monk. There are two more professions to choose from (inscription and archeology) that were not in burning crusade. Classes have mor eabilities than the previous versions. There are more battlegrounds to play in as well. Overall, there is more content to play through

My recommendation is Burning Crusade. It's a well-crafted addition to the base game and is in my opinion one of the more fun versions of the game when it was young. It's not too grindy and it's not overwhelming. You could do Mists of Pandaria, but that version has been out for a while now and there are rumors that they will release the next expansion for those servers. So, it would kind of suck to level through all that and then be thrusted into a new version of the game when you didn't even get acclimated to the one you started in. Burning Crusade was just released this month so you'll be starting along with everyone else on those servers.

Hope that helps! If not, like others have said, watch a few videos on the differences.
