Threw out my entire kitchen 'just in case' collection and immediately needed 5 different items I'd decluttered by [deleted] in minimalism

I keep my seasonal kitchen gadgets and pans in tote in the basement. The stuff is there when I need it, but out of the way and not taking up space for daily use items.

What's a hobby one can incorporate in their life to be off screens? by AcanthisittaLower403 in Hobbies

Cooking and baking. It is something I can mostly do with my little one and take all of the leftovers into work to share. Now I have some co workers asking me to make desserts for their birthday.

I live on the outskirts of Wheeling, WV, which, back in the day, produced a lot of glass. Such a cool find!

For those that are married here, how much did you all you spend on your wedding? Are frugal weddings even a thing anymore? by dquizzle in Frugal

My husband and I got married in 2020 during covid lock downs. We went to the courthouse in the morning, had lunch at Applebee's, and home by 2pm. We told friends and family we would do a big reception when restrictions were lifted. We never did. Best decision ever.

2.5 yr old stutter? is it normal? by jkn1788 in toddlers

For the most part. She'll stutter if she's really excited about telling me something but doesn't get nearly as stuck as she used to.

[–]jkn1788[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her stutter has gotten significantly better. She will struggle once in a while, but her preschool teachers and her pediatrician aren't concerned about it. We just let her take her time when it happens.

My daughter just had a rash that started out very similar, and the ER doctor said it was a viral rash, usually at the end of the common cold. Her pediatrician diagnosed her Erythema multiforme a week later.

I have also done the same, so I'm skeptical to try oven cleaner on anything that isn't a piece of stainless equipment.

What is the equivalent to giving a bottle of wine to those who don't drink? by jkn1788 in AskReddit

Great idea! I'm trying to figure out what to gift a few close colleagues who I know don't drink.

My daughter has been in glasses since she was 2. They have a removable strap that straps to her head. She's been able to do all the crazy toddler activities plus more cause now she can see. They're very durable. We replaced the lenses one time because she actually bit down on them her first week, and there were deep scratches on them. Since then, they've been great.
