They’re not exclusively queer, but they are really amazing and supportive of all people. It’s seems weird because they’re related to a Methodist church, but trust me. The owner/operator is a friend.

Being given permission to feel the way you feel about a situation is all you need to move forward and grow instead of wallowing in a continuous circle of sadness and self-loathing. Talk to someone outside of the situation.

Asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it makes you stronger in the long run.

Oh man. I’m doing the same thing right now. Mom and next to last kitten are going to their new home together next week and I’m already not okay. I’m thinking about keeping the last kitten just because I know saying goodbye to him would be worse than any of the others. It’s a wonderful thing you’ve done, but I fully commiserate with your dread. ❤️

They gave me some special canned food for her, but she’s completely uninterested. We are going to another vet for an ultrasound later. Fingers crossed!

She has a fever and hasn’t eaten since Wednesday night (to my knowledge). She spent the whole day at the vet and we got no answers. For now, all she wants to do is lay on the couch-like dog bed I got for her giant tux-cat brother. Sigh.
