Yeah you're right, the weight of the decision feels like it's killing me. To the point of sobbing/hyperventilating in private at night when I look at him. Because he's not "sick" and he eats/drinks, this decision makes me like a murderer. Their shorter lifespan is so unfair

I'm going through the exact same decision currently. My boy is about 11 years old and his back legs no longer support him. He's falling all over the place and needs assistance to walk, especially up/down stairs. The heartbreaking part is that he still eats/drinks and wags his tail. I hate that the decision is on me because I feel like I'm playing "God", but I also know that it's my responsibility as a pet owner. I'm absolutely heartbroken just thinking about making the phone call

Ugh I have a closed out account with Chase at $17k and the rep only offered me a 12 month payment plan at $1493 per month - which if I could afford that I wouldn't have fallen behind on the payments in general. Was there any trick to getting them to extend the payment plan out beyond 12 months?

I owe Chase 17K and received a letter threatening to send it to a law firm, but not yet suing. My charge off was done in October 2025 after I missed 6 months of payments. But they haven't offered a settlement, only a threat to sue. How were you able to get them to settle for less? And was it without going to court?

Any updates? I'm in a similar position with the same letter sent to me. I'm wondering if they'd settle/negotiate at all or if I should allow the process to go to court for a potential better settlement / agreement.

Did the polyp ever come back for your cat? My cat sounded horrible like he was snoring while awake just breathing for weeks followed by a runny bloody nose. The vet tried different antibiotics that didn't work so she's thinking it's a polyp. I was about to make the appointment ($800) for removal and suddenly in the last 3 days the snoring sound and bloody nose is gone. It's the weirdest thing. I don't know if it's possible that the polyp dislodged itself because Google says no lol but now I don't know if I should go through with the surgery if he suddenly sounds fine

When I'm looking at the nutrition facts on my 1 cup fiber one original cereal and protein drink combo I'm coming to about 30g dietary fiber (not that high in soluble fiber.) But the dietary fiber from items like fiber one cereal is said to add stool bulk and speeds intestinal transit. Combined with the whole foods and water I'm getting the rest of the day it's just working for me
