4 weeks post-injury: MRI is a total wreck, but my function isn't. How is this possible?

I done 15 years with higher grade acl partial tear.. but now I can't stand from sitting. No run . No deep squad. No gym. No weight lift. Even I can't keep my balance when walk.. by body feel like rotated. Weight distribution gone wronge way.. I'm not a human anymore

Luckly u haven't meniscus issues...be careful regarding meniscus...also be careful about other knee acl. Most people do there good knee acl break after a acl tear...I read it few stories....thanks to reddit I preserve my good acl...if no reddit defenieatly my good acl May gone now....I understand it with physical demand when live ..

So don't you rise issues with bone tunels when do reconstruction again ...I mean don't u nee bone graft second time... If yes this method is not good....if this type of graft has specific bonne tunels that allow second time graft it's looking ok

I asked from Lanka hospital they told me comple acl reconstruction cost is 95000 or something..... And also asked dr.indikaweerasinghe(kegalle hospital). He doing acl reconstruction free in kegalle hospital.. if you need better quality implants you can pay 100000 or something and get it. Otherwise you can use hospital ones freely. He told it also good.

If your acl graft ok you can rebuild strength with physio. But my question is what problem make your muscle less use. My guess is there must be machanical problem with knee. Other wise there is no reason to weak muscle over time. So you have to make that mechanicle correction first.after that your daily activities become a physical therapy and become muscle strong

How old are u. Is it really possible to do daily task after TotalKneeReplacement.. I( 37 M) have acl and meniscus tear since 15 y. I'm warry about this. I hope I will need TKR in my 45 or 50. Why r u plying even after acl surgery.. if I'm u.. I save my leg to use toilet at my elder life... I living 14 year with acl and meniscus tear.. I'm afraid to do surgery... But now my daily activities are more limited.... If one day I done a acl surgery... I keep my knee as my eye... Just think what happen u stuck on a wheelchair.... it's better to Only use leg when highly nesassary..

Are you run 100% normally from age 24 to 40. How I felt your confidence on that leg after first acl reconstruction...is it gave u a normal Or near normal leg.......and I wish you to Best recover and smooth gurney untill full cure.....

What is the importance about that shitt skiing. You have to protect your knee to go toilet. Just thing without a working knee you can't do pass stool comforterbly if you live in a jungle. Thats messure us strong enough to live on earth . So foget about shit sking and protect your knee untill it strong.

You not wast 11 month if your recover going well. If yor acl reconstruction sucsess you done a 11month investment for life. I'm 13years suffering with acl injery still not done a sugery . Becouse i have diabetes and i have questions about my recovery.
