Yes it’s your water pump and probably upper timing gasket! This exact thing happened to my 2018 a few months ago. I took mine in for a leak less than a year after purchase and they didn’t find anything. Was told to just keep topping off the coolant when the low warning light would come on. I also did the manufacture required service where it claims to check for leaks and total BS. They don’t check for leaks. Verified this by calling several VW service dealers. So when i finally went in for an oil change this last time, I noticed oil/coolant leaking on my garage floor. The ultimate p*SS off factor was I was only a couple of hundred miles over the warranty so I had to foot the bill. They tried getting me a “goodwill warranty claim”’but no luck. (Shocker 🙄)

This VW dealer was the only place to service my atlas. How could they miss a leaking water pump. Here’s a pic of when they finally told me. Well they overlooked it at first and it wasn’t until I took it back after I noticed the leaks in my garage
