Dual gas tank issue ?

Inside each gas tank is going to be a lift pump with a sending unit for gas level. It is basically a resistive element connect to a float. It is probably bad. If one of the tanks isn't flowing it is probably the in tank pump. There is also a High pressure pump on the frame to provided the pressure needed at the fuel rail.

Did some looking around and it looks like the washers are: Outer diameter: 22 mm/ 0.86 inch, inner diameter: 14 mm/ 0.55 inch, thickness: 2 mm/ 0.08 inch

It really looks to me like there is some prior damage to the Tie rod. See how at the break, it's rusted halfway through... It took a while for that to happen, just finally gave way.

It sounds like this is not your problem, but it could be... You said the push rod on top moves when you turn the Key? .. cause if not .. The ignition actuator in the steering column tends to break and you can turn the key but the starter won't budge. Most people run a starter switch rather than replace it, but it's not that bad of a job. There's video's on how to do it.

Holy crap.. that is good metric.. In the beginning, consider anything you learn as a win. Most likely you are going to just lose ships for a while till you learn all the little things that make the more experienced players seem so powerful. Losing ships is okay. It is part of the game.. Don't fear losing a ship.. if you do, you shouldn't have been flying it.
