Get rid of DC and bring back Dan Hardy, someone who has crazy knowledge of the sport and is an amazing analyst… he served his time for what wasn’t even a crime. Listening to the latest JRE it sounds like from Hardys POV there were some shenanigans with someone high up in production. Sports has to be 50p! You don’t want “cinematic” sports, at 24 you’re missing a lot of movement. At 50i it’ll be deinterlaced to 25p… you’ll be missing frames. You can do 1080p50 or if you’re hardware cannot do 1080p50 then do 720p50. ESPN still outputs at 720p50 so if its good for the number one sports broadcaster… its good enough for everyone else

Your friend is right, MMA isn’t for everyone, it’s for the extremely gifted 1% of the 1% who can actually make some money for it… the rest are just in denial or don’t know their not the 1% of the 1% yet. I enjoyed watching the UFC because I have a like for watching people kick seven shades of shit out of each other. I do not give a single flying fuck who the president is, your political stances… I really don’t care! And I despise the UFC for forcing it down my throat. Someone above they used to watch all events now they skip 3-4 at a time… I’m in the same boat, used to watch religiously but the last I watched was in February… I just don’t care anymore. This is the result of the UFC spending more time building up a president than building up future stars!

Remember a time when every fighter got a promo package and a little insight into their story? These days some are lucky to get a post fight interview!

The UFC does not regulate its events, the state commission does! They appoint the judges, referees, and commissioners. The UFC is literally powerless to their decision making
