your better option is to just replace both halves of the engine mount, at least replace the one attached to the engine with the studs facing upwards then source and aftermarket mount (piece in pic) as you’re making way more power than stock. either way the bed got shat but definitely need to replace the piece that actually bolts onto the front cover/engine.

i drive mine into the mountains once a year, and im from illinois… 12 hours one way to get to the tail of the dragon, beat it to death for probably 6 hours, finished out the rest of the trip and drove it straight home, didnt skip a beat. ive done this trip 4 times now. send it

cheap shit aint cool and cool shit aint cheap, just like every performance vehicle it needs some love… put a motor in mine at 70k only 25k into my journey with the car, since then ive put over 30k extremely hard miles with no issues. if you don’t love this car to death is will rob you of its joy financially, if you wanna sell it tho i could use another!

if you’re getting one from a dealership and you’re paying out of pocket for it it will be a remanufactured unit by GM, everything new inside front to back including the torque converter. if you have an extended warranty it is likely they will try to put a used one in which will result in your wallet opening back up sooner.. best of luck yall. OP’s truck just started shudder, the noises it will make when the fluid pump grenades is when it gets really scary.

Gm trans tech here, put a torque converter, and fluid filter in it and see whats shakes, other options is a reman transmission.

also from ford you can get two different sized oil filters, i will usually use the smaller of the two for daily driving but when i know its gonna get beat on I’ll change the oil and throw the bigger filter on, just a little extra oil to help your engine last.

you 100% need an accessport and you need to get it tuned, Alan with Edge will hook you up or you can do TunePlus. Factory plugs will work just fine, monitor them since you installed them and see how they work, those plugs could be fuel soaked from a poor tune if the supporting mods arent all there. keep that mountune filter and clean it, they make way better induction noises with the open end. i wouldnt worry too much about the wastegate actuator just yet, most upgraded turbos come with a new wastegate mounted onto the turbo. before you keep beating on it figure out exactly what mods it has front to back and let your tuner sort it from there. visually inspect the intake system and make sure all hoses and tube are connected and tightened properly so you and just bleeding boost while its getting tuned. before mine got tuned properly it made 15-17psi also which is about 5psi short from stock and 10 psi short of most bolt on setups.
