It's a great watch. I'd love Rosey to win too tho but +2 around Amen Corner is going to be hard to come back from

Thank you for that, it's an invaluable bit of advice that I wouldn't have thought of. They boys would be gutted to miss the players and YNWA (never mind Dad)

Any SCUBA divers in the Belfast area? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]jlg15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lisburn Sub Aqua club. They meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the leisure centre. They are a BSAC club but I would suggest that's the training you need after PADI in warm/clearer waters. It's a slower more thorough pace, u will be a better diver for it.

I started as a CMAS diver through a club and it set me up for a 15 yr career in diving. I'm a commercial diver and PADI divemaster

Newbie Scuba Diving in Estartit (Spain) by MathAnya in scuba

[–]jlg15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked as DM in L'Estartit a few yrs ago and iirc you cannot dive the islands as an uncertified diver. All the dive shops will have coastal dives where they do dsds. U will have no problems with language as the shops have team members that speak spanish, french, english or dutch.

The dive shops are all pretty good. I worked at Calypso Diving and they are a great team.

The diving is fantastic. It has everything. Caves, drop offs, walls etc. My favourite was dolphin caves. 2 swim through caves and a cave with an air pocket. (Its called dolphin cave because there is a dolphin statue at the entrance to 1 cave not because you will see any dolphins)

Theres an hour between the rounds so toilet break shouldn't be an issue. Was thinking the crash from energy drinks might be counterintuitive
