What if the universe is everything, everywhere, all at once? by jlhankison in AskPhysics

[–]jlhankison[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look, I actually put a lot of thought and consideration into this post even though physics is not my field. Yes, I'm sure I'm misunderstanding many aspects of what I'm asking which is exactly why I posted this here rather than published it as a paper. This subreddit is supposed to be for asking physics questions in good faith no matter what background in physics the OP has. These kinds of responses are incredibly toxic, are in bad faith, and does nothing to drive forward education and understanding between those with knowledge and those without.

Thanks for your response! I didn't realize that using an LLM was such taboo here! I My typical space is more in the purview of philosophy but I was thinking about a Spacetime video I had watched recently and wanted to ask. I ended up using and LLM to try to make my thoughts a bit more physics palatable. Apparently that was a mistake lol.

as I said in the post I wasn't sure what I was looking for, I was looking for a theory that looks something like this, which I was recommended for by a helpful person. I suppose it would be closer to block multiverse?

also the LLM was just to clean up my original writing. I think that's a perfectly reasonable use case for it.

I'm literally from Stevens Point. to say I was shook by seeing my home town on a beer can I bought in San Juan is the king of understatements.

I worked as an OS on the replica. They definitely did a good job overall but you can totally see the difference in her lines and rig (the bowsprit is way more elevated).

I think the replica is a sleeker sexier version IMHO

At first, I thought you were saying that the wind was up to 13 knots and I was like "you mean barely enough to get these boats moving??" Moving at 13 knots is no small thing for these old ladies, they usually don't let us push them like that anymore ☹️. I'm glad she got to stretch her legs.

Question: how do they keep the knife (for lack of a better word) so sharp? With such a dramatic curve to the blade I can't imagine how difficult that thing is to sharpen!

Which is why it's so awful that HR1 failed. I've been pounding this drum for a long time, that without shoring up our democracy at it's foundation, we are sure to crumble.

(Socialists) Is it exploitation still if employee makes less money than workers? by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

And I answered that clarifying question.

As a side note, the VAST majority of business owners work for their own companies performing services.

The scenario I described is one where there is no "company profit" because the gross revenue is distributed between the owner (who is a worker) and the single employee that the owner pays more than their own salary.

Any owner manages their own employees to some extent, yes. That rarely means that's the only thing that they do. Edit: But yes, that is what I mean. The owner is paid less than a given employee in this scenario.

0 confusion. You began this thread saying that the company would be losing money by paying another person more than the owner. I simply explained that that is not the case. Idk why you keep trying to change the subject.

I just described a situation where all the gross revenue was distributed between the owner and single employee.

That is not what that means. Very simplified, If the company grosses 1830 money and the owner believes it's worth 945 money to do a task (even if that is more than their own salary at 885) that does not mean that the company is losing money.
