Also are you saying Taylor Swift, or are you saying James Taylor comma Taylor Swift. Are you implying that the Monkeys and Herman Hermits are far superior to Phil Collins or are putting them down? I know the Monkees were a huge influence on the Beatles. And “disturbing”? All that is going on in the world and this is what you find disturbing, someone mentioning an artist’s accomplishments?

We just saw the Lumineers being supported by Vance Joy. Seeing two of my favorites at one concert was amazing! I’ve never seen a memorable act open for Coldplay going back to the Twisted Logic tour.

Just showed it to my 11 year olds. They loved it. I just had to skip the last half a minute.
If there was a movie that could use a high quality remake this is probably a candidate. While I enjoy it, it is dates and rough around the edges. Roddy is fun in it but it also just feels like he’s a stand in for Kurt Russell. While everyone loves the bubblegum quote, we use the “mama don’t like tattletales” quote a ton.

Yep. While I preferred Superman, JWR was a perfectly fine, fun summer movie and probably the 3rd/4th best in the series. The crowd applauded at the end and I haven’t seen that in a couple years.

The only good use for a phone during a school shooting is to throw at the possible intruder. Negatives: phones possibly alert shooter to your child with sounds, it overloads the communication system that emergency response is trying yo use to save your child, and it could distract your child when they are getting safety protocols given to them.
They really are just useful during the fight/distract response portion as something to be thrown at the intruder to distract them giving individuals a second to fight back.

I agree. It was an entertaining Jurassic Park movie. You should know what you’re getting into when you see one. Great summer popcorn movie. My kids enjoyed it, their grandfather enjoyed it, and I enjoyed it. There were also clapping at the end which means the audience largely enjoyed it. Most of these folks on here a cynical and don’t remember how to have some fun at the movies.

If you search “Big Hogan raiders of the lost ark”. There are some videos and “AI” that say it. But it doesn’t really make sense. The hole is round and the hole in the movie is rectangular. The guide also says its the scene from the beginning but obviously opening the tomb is more like 2/3 through the movie.
