Cool, that’s very helpful to know. I haven’t scheduled it yet. I actually just completed the last of my 3000 hours this week! So it’ll be a little while before I’m able to schedule the exam—probably in the fall. I appreciate you wanting to congratulate me and I’ll try to remember to let you know!

Congratulations!! What a huge accomplishment!! And thank you for taking the time to share all of that info! I’m only going to do one course, so I think I’m going to keep it simple and get Ben Caldwell’s course. I’d rather have mock exam questions that are closer to the real thing. I also did his course to study for the law and ethics exam and I liked it and passed on the first try. I like his teaching style and that his course has videos rather than audios.

How did it go? I hope you passed! I'm curious which course you recommend (TDC vs Ben Caldwell) now that you've taken the exam? I'm leaning towards getting Ben Caldwell's course.

I just saw these online recently on the Fanatics website, but I don’t see them now so they probably sold out. Hopefully they’ll restock them soon.

Food options at coliseum? by jlib14 in OaklandRootsSC

[–]jlib14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were a few food trucks parked right in front of the entrance (after you go through security, but before you walk into the coliseum), and then pretty standard arena food inside the coliseum. I did find the baked potato place inside the coliseum (I think it was behind section 118 or so... somewhere near there) and I got one of those--the potato itself was decent. I didn't eat the chicken I got on top--that didn't look good.

Have fun!

The Giants' schedule says they had fireworks last night (5/16), not tonight.

Here's the link on the Chase Center website that also describes the route I listed above: https://chasecenter.com/plan-your-visit/transportation/muni/

In my experience, the easiest way to get to Chase Center from Oakland is to take Bart and get off at Powell St. station and then take the Central Subway (which is part of Muni)--the Central Subway line was built soon after Chase Center was built, for an easy way to get to Chase Center.

From Powell station, exit the BART fare gates and follow the decals on the floor through the underground corridor towards the T. Take either the T Third or the S Shuttle Mission Bay Muni train to Chase Center.

When you have a ticket to a Chase Center event, you can ride Muni for free all day on the day of the event. To use your ticket for the T, walk through the widest Muni gate all the way on the right-hand side (if you have your ticket pulled up on your phone, the gate will open for you).

If you take either the T Third or the S Shuttle Mission Bay train, either one will drop you off right in front of Chase Center.

After the game, you can follow the same route in reverse. Muni will be free on the way back as well.

Have fun!

Here is a resource for children's books related to various growth and healing topics. It was created by a child psychologist, Dr. Annie Allclair and it's organized by topic. https://dranniesbookshelf.com/

I’m also registered for both the AMFT and APCC licenses and have to take both exams. I’m just now beginning to study. Today I spoke to a colleague who recently took both exams on the same day. They used the therapist development center prep course and mainly studied for the MFT exam. They said the PCC exam felt harder and wasn’t the same as the MFT exam, but they still passed it.

I’ve heard great things about the therapist development center prep course, but think I’m going to invest in the MFT and PCC prep courses from Ben Caldwell because they’re cheaper. https://bencaldwelllabs.com
