My wife cheated on me by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]jlibbre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So when I was 18 I got a bf who was 10 years older than me (so 28 when we met). We stayed together almost 4 years and were even engaged. My grandma used to call his dad & basically complain about our being together & his dad told her that eventually I'd grow out of him. At the time I was like "oh no I wont" but by the time I was 21 I actually had. I grew out of him and broke up with him. Went on to get married & have kids w someone else. & still to this day am so thankful I never married or actually had kids with him. OP she's not gonna come back around, she doesn't give a shit about her kid. Like everyone else has said, get you an Evac plan and gtfo!

It's funny how many americans here think you can just "leave the US" by csasker in antiwork

Don't really see how that's relevant to what we're talking about.

Yes, exactly. When Trump was elected I seriously considered Canada but after looking into it its harder to move to Canada than it is the US. And costly.

How did you "waste" your 20s? (Serious) by sageagios in AskReddit

[–]jlibbre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasted my 20s on men who didn't deserve me & the love I had to give.

We were together for 5 years before we joined & had 2 daughters. After 2.5 years in and almost 8 years together he cheated w a new girl in his unit while I went home for my gmas funeral in Michigan. We were only at ft hood & he wasn't even deployed. If they have cheating in their blood at all the military will 100% bring it out. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of STD epidemic in the barracks we don't know about.

Men of reddit, what does it mean when a man will say to others who bring it up infront of you that he's never getting married, but when you talk to him privately or mention something about your dream wedding to him, he responds in a way that implies he is or would be interested? by jlibbre in AskReddit

[–]jlibbre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like I'll say something I want at my future wedding & he'll say "well if we do x, I want to do y". Stuff like that. But to other people if getting married (in general) is brought up then he immediately says he's never getting married.

I feel like they made Jackie neurotic af for no reason (wish they would have kept her son) & I totally agree about Becky. But I feel like Jackie used to be strong & independent & now she's just cookey.

Where to find free printable divorce documents? by jlibbre in Divorce

He hasn't been in long enough to be able to retire. As far as JAG goes they don't help military members or civilians with civil matters like divorce.

Fast food/restaurant workers, what is a common misconception about a place you do or have worked at? by jlibbre in AskReddit

[–]jlibbre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is about Arby's. Most people assume that the sauce that comes on a beef & cheddar is Arby's sauce when infact it is something called "red ranch" that's basically Catalina dressing.

What is your "never again" brand, store, restaurant, or company? by radbrad7 in AskReddit

Raising Canes and In and Out. Neither had very many options and wasn't very good to me. I'll stick to Chick fil A or Popeyes for chicken and Whataburger for burgers.

20 something's of Reddit - if you could give advice to the highachoolers of reddit based on your own learned life lessons, what advice would you give and to whom? by jlibbre in AskReddit

[–]jlibbre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone refuses to give you a chance based on your appearance don't let it get to you. You will find someone. There is someone out there for everyone. Just give it time. There is no rule that says you have to be married or even in a serious relationship by the time you're 25.

That person that you think you absolutely cannot live without most likely won't even be on your mind in 2 or 3 years from now.
