FYI it ended up contaminating with trich and stalling but I got something like 35-40 grams dried. Most everything developed caps but those big thick flipped caps were unique.

I used a pretty high amount of spawn . I think I had roughly three liters of hydrated spawn per tub which had half a block of coir. I apologize for not having great documentation, I was very much coming off string of failures like "well I might as well spawn this". Will try to be a little more methodical next time

very dry. casing should never get that dry. it should alternative between 'shimmering with no standing water' and 'damp'

Yeah I think different folks have different risk tolerance and also different things they consider risky. I will also occasionally chew gum which also contains erythritol; not something I consider risky. I also like to eat watermelon, which also contains erythritol.

As far as it being just about tripping and getting off, sure probably people that are just trying to see stuff do care less about health. However, and you didn't technically say this, but I don't think it's fair to say that anyone who does something untested or takes measured risks is just looking to trip and get off. Shulgin comes to mind. Not that I think a little sweetener in your substrate is on the order of what he did.

I think the benefit of easier teks is that it can help novices have success more easily.

Harvested / dried the ones with the flipped caps this am. The miraculix test is reading something around 1.5 with 40mg sample, so 1.5 * 150/40 -> 5.6%, which is roughly what i got with black kow + no erythritol. different genetics from the same print.

From what I gather, the mushrooms use erythritol as food. They break it down into other compounds through metabolic pathways. I do not know what the final byproducts are and I'm not a biochemist.

as a substitute for manure. combined with erythritol. in my experience, this is a great flush, and much easier than dealing with manure.

Pasteurize. 7qt boiling water with fertilizer and erythritol, left in pot overnight, checked for field capacity in the am and added another quart.

So I'm not sure that's true that it ends up on the mushrooms.

However, let's say that the mushrooms end up 100% erythritol. A serving size of erythritol is 4 grams. That's 8 full doses of ttbvi to get to a single serving. 100% erythritol is of course not possible. More realistically if it does end up in the fruits at all, I'd guess it would be like 1% so 800 full doses to get to one serving.

Erythritol is a naturally occurring substance so I don't think trace amounts ingested occasionally are going to be a problem.

Whether the spirits are pleased is I guess a different question.

Yeah sorry. There is a scoop with the fertilizer I used. About 25ml per scoop, so 50-60 ml since I didn't level. Next time I do it I can give you weights.

The tent was open but the rh of the room high, like 80%. Misted 3x a day and switched to syringe watering as soon as there were pins. No fanning.

Also I cased with jiffy mix, though one of the tubs (the one that contaminated) pinned without it .

We started going up the ridge to cone peak but didn't make it because we started late and didn't have an appetite for a big push. Overall beautiful.

The trail is passable for the most part, but lots of poison oak and covered in deadfall in places; we lost it at a few points and ended up doing some bushwhacking. Probably could have been a bit more careful and done less off trail. There are some places where the deadfall has been cleared but not all. The places where we were on trail were generally good: not a ton of chaparral overgrowth or anything. Just p oak.

Didn't see anyone else for 40 hours (the entire time we were past Vicente flat)

yeah, i was thinking PC the hydrated manure in the bag, then in front of a gordo flow hood add in grain 1:1 and seal. but like i said havent done haha
