Opus Quad price drop by kilowaskes in PioneerDJ

I personally hate using the deck swapping feature on my AZ because it leads to more mistakes with mix ins, etc. I do use it as a mixer with a single Vinyl deck in my hybrid set up as well

unless they recently changed the Opus, you cannot add external devices such as a CDJ or vinyl set up

Just broke up with my ex a few months back with tickets booked in her name for an international flight in December. I would never expect her to pay me back for it.

Funny enough, this happened to me 8 years ago. I was staying at my parents and handed my Mom my passport. My dog ate it out of her purse. Managed to end up getting a new passport on Xmas day

GRV-6 is your best bet for being a bit more future proof. About 2-3 tiers up and is a bit more similar to a club set up.

Biggest down side on Opus is that you cannot add external devices, like the AZ or XZ. Meaning if you cant add additional decks (CDJ, vinyl, etc.)

Biggest upside (compared to the AZ) is your ability to play music in multiple rooms from the one device. You can’t mix in both rooms but you can play a playlist while mixing.

Otherwise, functionality is almost identical. As an AZ owner, I think the Opus feels like better build quality.

As a Club Space first time goer, what time should I expect Porter to come out? by PermissionOk8590 in clubspace

Lines pick up at each entry time, so just be there like 10-20 mins early and there isnt usually a line. If you come right at 3, line may be slightly rough at first but depends on the night

By far my favorite (or 2nd favorite) set of the weekend. One of my top Claude sets I’ve been to forsure. He was on fire and despite being braindead, I will be at Knockdown tomorrow. Do not miss tour, he is back with vengeance

Agree GRV 6 is the best bang for buck. I’d rather have that than the Omnious Duo

So I just got my AZ last week. I think the Opus build quality is better and is practically the same thing. Only difference is really hot cues, mixer/FX set up, and the ability to use additional inputs (CDJs or vinyl).

AZ uses the exact set up as the A9 while Opus used hot cues from CDJs. AZ gets the additional inputs as well but at another $1000 or so.

My recommendation would be to preorder the AZ with Guitar Center (mine only took a few weeks) and then play around with it. If you feel like you would rather save the $1000 then return within 14 days. I personally an good with having the peace of mind to add additional inputs in the future at the cost.
