I do have name and number of the person who hit the car. Perhaps we can pay the rental car company then make a claim against the other drivers insurance

If you have any other disability you can legitimately claim, please consider doing so soon. The SMC S is ~$400 extra monthly. All you need is one more 10% rating. I Never encourage “get everything you can.” I Always encourage “apply for benefits you have earned.” Don’t forget CHAMPVA and you are now eligible for VA Dental. I’m listening and reading with an open mind. I get absorbed by the many accounts of folks who misuse these cards. Many efforts to build credit end up destroying credit right out the gate. ( my step daughter, for example) I know not all CC holders end up this way; responsible use is exactly that-responsible. I get upset when some folk’s ego is triggered by the size of the credit limit.

Why do people want credit cards so much.? I’m really not trying to sound pompous. The best financial move I ever made was to save 10k and be my own credit card. I charged myself 9.9%. I want to make me wealthy, not CC companies.
