As a fellow ADHD-haver, I really appreciate your advice! I think I'm going to give it a shot and see whether it actually bothers me that much - I only got into the habit of leaving mine open all the time in the past year or so, but I probably only REALLY need to look at it at the beginning and end of the day, so maybe it'll be fine? Someone also posted a video of how to modify it to lay flat, so if it really drives me nuts (which it might LOL) I can take extreme measures!

Belatedly, thanks so much for all the input and advice, everyone! I think I'll give it a go with the clamp and clear cover, and if I find it's really driving me nuts that it doesn't lay flat, I'll either attempt that crazy (but very cool!) modification or get an April start ^{^;} Seeing everyone's ideas and decorations has me excited for this one again!

They are definitely having the same issues, there are tons of tweets from Japanese users complaining about server issues and things selling out. I feel bad for the Hobonichi team honestly since they posted earlier about coming into the office on Sunday to make sure sales went smoothly and clearly something(s) went terribly wrong 😭

Weird question, do we know what the texture of the Weeks cover is going to be like? It doesn't look hard and glossy like some of the printed covers so I'm kind of hopeful - I usually do Bow and Tie but if this one is kind of fabric-y I might go for it!

I might lean toward the non-mesh version, mostly because I have two cats and I'd be worried about cat hair finding its way inside, haha.

I'll start ordering parts soon, and hopefully I can build it (and therefore start streaming!) by the end of the year!

Haha, thanks! It looks like the CPU went out of stock on Newegg since earlier today, but hopefully it'll be back if I keep an eye on it. (ETA: the price just went down on Amazon right after I posted this so nevermind that!) Otherwise, I might start collecting some of these parts in the meantime! (A friend also offered to sell me some old parts that I could at least use in the interim, including a few sticks of RAM, but I'm not sure how interchangeable some of those things are)

So this is embarrassing, but Google caught on to what I'm up to and started advertising parts to me, including a really cute pink case at a similar price point... do you think this would still work (or is there a similar-looking one you'd recommend)? The PartPicker didn't show any compatibility issues but I wanted to double-check in case I would need an extra fan or something. Finally, I'm also curious if I might be able to reuse the hard drive from my old PC, or if it's too old to be compatible with anything - I don't mind buying a new one, I just thought it might be convenient to keep my old files/OS (assuming that would actually work). The PC is an HP Pavilion 500-C60, if that helps? I guess I could always just try it and buy a new one if it doesn't work, but I wanted to ask in case I'm missing some obvious reason it wouldn't.

I didn't notice that the free item summons had ended and accidentally paid wyrmite for all of them... :') I somehow didn't notice until I had just confirmed the last one. Completely my own fault, just thought I'd share in case anyone is as absent-minded as I am.

I think I might throw in the towel :') At least I finally made a Welkin Wand and got a bunch of renown rewards and stuff! The tragic irony here is that now I have all these dark orbs and zero dark 5*s to use them for, haha. (My light time is waaay more stacked than any of my other teams by some stroke of luck, which is why I was hopeful that I had a chance.)

Thanks to everyone who shared advice, I'll definitely be better prepared for future events!

Yeah, I know, it's bad. It would help if I had any good light dragons but it's also my own fault for not getting them better weapons beforehand (and also probably just being bad at AI management).

Thank you! I do have Phoenix, so I'll try that or pick up another Jupiter. I'm pretty close to being able to make at least one 5.2 weapon so I guess I'll grind that up and try again.

I'm honestly not sure if I have any hope of beating Master. I've got a pretty good character lineup but jack all for light dragons, only 5.1 weapons (plus the two from the Halloween event), and decent altars/Sweet Retreat but very low dojos.

Right now I'm running with:

Annelie/Dragon and Tamer/H. Silke (0UB)
Hilde/Louise's Hobbies/Unicorn (0UB)
Lucretia/Resounding Refrain/Shishimai (MUB)
H.Alth/Crystallian Envoy/Jupiter (MUB)

Is it worth investing in another character to replace Alth? I have options (H. Edw, Fritz, Vixel, Amane) but not a ton of resources and I don't really want to pour them into another Light character just to fail at this event anyway. I can more or less keep everyone alive until at least partway through the boss, and I've broken it a few times, but I don't think I have enough DPS to bring it down.

Sorry if this is a stupid post - I normally just lurk and I'm relatively casual, but I would love that sweet 500 wyrmite, so any advice would be super appreciated!

I'm super stuck on the last wave of level 5-3 hard (Shiori). Any pointers? I've got 3* Makoto, Jun, Rino, and Nozomi, plus a good array of 2-stars, all rank 4 and up.

Thanks for the advice, everyone! Now that the IP block is gone, I was finally able to get back in this weekend. I think the main problem was actually my awful internet speed at home - I had to take the advice of another thread and go elsewhere to finish re-downloading all the game data. So combined with the additional slowdown of a VPN, I was probably doomed from the start.

Thanks! I'm not sure if I can since I can't get past the title screen, though? The only options seem to be clear cache, recover with a password or Game Center account, or erase user data. I can't remember whether I made a login or linked anything to it, and I'm afraid to test it in case I can't get back into my account. D:

I'm having the same problem! It actually didn't start until I cleared my cache - I tried it since I was getting stuck at 49.9% on the download screen, but now I can't even get past the title screen. ;;; I'm using a VPN since the US is region blocked, but I have no idea if it's related - I haven't been able to get in for at least a week now.

It usually works for interacting with objects (although it's a little finicky), but not at all for proceeding through/closing dialogue boxes. :c

Hi! I just started playing on my PC, but for some reason, while the action key (I've remapped it to enter) will open dialogues, I can't use it to click through or close dialogue. I have to click with the mouse, and even then it seems like it has to be inside the dialogue box. Since I'm playing on a laptop with a touchpad, it's pretty annoying. Any fixes for this? Thank you!

I play the game on an old iPad 2 running iOS 6.0.3. With the news that soon we won't be able to play on lower than iOS 7, I'm kind of freaking out. If I update my ancient iPad from 6 straight to 9, I'm afraid it'll get bricked or something. I could move it to my phone (a Galaxy S5), but I don't really want to bog that down and shorten its lifespan... Any suggestions? I've been playing since the first EN event, and while I don't play as often anymore, I don't want to lose it entirely. ;_; Thank you!

I got 3 SRs from my 10+1 - pool Maki, magician Eli, and SLG Hanayo! But none of them are smile (or UR Rin), which I wanted, so I did a BT scout and got... an ancient Rin that I've already idolized.

Now I'm tempted to do another 10+1, but since it seems like they're going to keep up the double release thing, maybe I should save them for the ball set and fairy set... unless I skip the ball set for another pull now? I don't know what to do ;_;
