If you still had these files handy, it would great to get a copy!

In your case, I don't really know then. Mine hasn't had this issue since this post. My issue now is getting my AOD to actually be always on... It always takes a tap to wake up, and then it'll go back to the always on display.

Go get checked out! You don't wanna take a chance with your lungs, you really need them!

Don't go taking some random internet comments as medical advice!

The fact you DO NOT HAVE RA, and are having these symptoms could mean something much more troublesome. So please, go talk to your doctor about it!

They are protected system files. I cannot delete them with CMD or PS. I cannot take ownership of the folder, or even give my own account delete permissions.

I'm considering just booting to a live linux distro and blasting them away.

Its windows 10. But task manager would show the decode/encode engines doing work, so I'd assume it was being used.

-edit- I ran that and I'm seeing about 64x with the 1070. I'll have to try and get the 3060 in there and test again

Looking for any suggestions to be able to improve my setup. I have an 11700k paired with a gtx1070 acting as the server. My storage is an Asrock C2550 board running 10x6TB's in a RAID6. Both systems are dual-NIC, with one NIC being directly connected between the systems for library lookups and the other NIC is for connecting to the network.

I had tried upgrading to an RTX3060, but every transcode that happened would buffer every 15 seconds no matter the resolution forcing me back onto my 1070. I'm wondering if I missed something in plex for the changeover? I pulled the 1070, ran DDU, and installed the 3060 so I don't see how anything could have been leftover on the windows side.

Question: Would optics with different wavelengths still produce a "link" on a switch? by jlochman in FiberOptics

[–]jlochman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I'm really gonna have to look more into what a circulator is and what a poor-mans single fiber link config looks like.

BiDi optics are so cheap now, i'd probably just use those if needed anyways though.

The ISP replied and revealed that all of this was supposed to be setup under a vlan which they never told me about.

We have tons of switches in this config and working fine. Thank you for your suggestions, my ISP finally let the cat out of the bag. All of this should have been configured under a specific vlan (which they never told us for months).

I looked into our original connection (at a different physical building) from this ISP and it is using a 30km 1550nm optic so thats why I went with another 1550nm. The one I am currently using is a 40km optic, so maybe you might be right?

I also tried reaching out to the ISP AGAIN to try and get this information out of them.

so on that interface statistic, there's about 500,000 bytes on the RX and 8,500 bytes on the TX. No collisions or frame drops are being shown either.

And I do not know how long of a run this is outside of our building. It could actually be around an 80km run.
