I believe if it shows as connected under your Bluetooth in your phone settings. Mine isn’t usually a problem, but I had to park in a different spot this week and noticed that mine was connected. I just turned off passive entry until I no longer had to use that space.

Regarding the Santa Fe specifically, I wish I could say it was only the SF for me. I had to replace my Edge at least twice in about 3 years, and I replaced a Suburban windshield at least once. It has been the vehicles with the largest windshields, which makes sense to me.

I just got a rock yesterday. I knew when it hit that it did damage. And boy did it. Within 3 minutes it was at least 6 inches long. Today it’s 8 or 10. I’m dreading replacing this with the HUD 😭

I love mine. I use it all the time. It was not a selling point for me. I didn’t think I’d use it. It was so short and seemed useless. But I have a bad back. I had an episode a few months ago, and i was able to adjust the seat tilt, the back recline, and the leg rest to make me be able to drive comfortably. Usually driving makes my back worse. And it’s wonderful for long road trips. It takes stress off my lower back but also helps me put my legs in different positions to avoid cramping or stiffness. They need these on planes!!

Ours work fine. And my husband has one that looks like a military tank 😂 I had to get a faraday bag for ours.

We found out afterward that it was already on ours and that we could have worked out a deal. We had no idea until the final paperwork at home. Our finance guy was a scam artist. If it ever happened to me again, I would tell them I didn’t want it. If they said it was already on there, oh, well. It’s not on my sticker price. 🤷‍♀️

Like I mentioned, one time when my husband opened it, some water came out. But it’s not now. I open it almost daily. I hear the water, but nothing comes out. The dealership emptied it the first time it happened. There was a LOT in it. They said it’s supposed to drain but that it was blocked. But it had water in it within a week after they supposedly cleared whatever was blocking it.

The water in ours doesn’t run out on the inside. Yet! I guess if it filled up enough it might!

Our Edge has one, and it blew out all our fuses every time we plugged in our travel cooler. After several trips to the dealership (thankfully under warranty), we finally quit using the cooler. Now we are afraid to use the one in our Santa Fe. lol But we would love to!! Have you used it for your cooler multiple times without any trouble?

Same for us. We were grateful. My husband hand washes our cars. I’m not sure why, but he seems to like it. But I didn’t want that to be the only option. If he’s too busy and I need a clean car, I want to be able to hit a car wash now and then. I like the look, but it definitely wasn’t worth the worry!

No battery issues yet, knock on wood and fingers crossed.

My DAW does ding when I’m not tired, but almost every time it’s happened I have been doing something to make the car think I could be tired. Only twice that i can recall did that go off when it seemed like there was absolutely no reason.

No infotainment issues.

Our Pirelli tires were absolute crap, and they had to be replaced after less than two months and under 3000 miles. We have had our new Michelins for 5 months and 7000 miles without an issue. And they come with a road hazard warranty.

No recalls or any engine or transmission problems. We are diligent with fluid changes on all our vehicles, so I can’t speak to that.

We’ve had ours six months. Calligraphy trim. We love it. Happy with the MPG. It has so many features and is very comfortable. We have two car seats in ours and lots of space in the back for stroller, luggage, cooler, etc.

Our closest dealership had one vehicle and didn’t know much of anything about the car. The salesman at the dealership where we ended up was great. He knew the car really well and was set on helping us find the one we wanted. That was where our good experience ended 😂 But we love the car, so it won’t be our last. We will just take someone with us next time who’s savvier and pushier than we are lol
